| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 28, 2009 12 oz. Bottle. Orangish color. Smelled of malt, yeast and citrus. Average beer at best nothing really stands out to elevate to a "must drink". Worth a try but nothing special. milljam (569), Norman, Oklahoma, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 28, 2009 I was surprised to find out this was fruit beer. Aroma of yeast, malt, faint hops and indistinguishable fruit. Flavor of caramel malt with some hints of fruit. Overall a bit bland and flat. 13mikey (138), New Hope, Minnesota, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 26, 2009 22 oz bomber from the Four Firkins. Poured a dark golden color with a thick white head. Very sharp fruity aroma, not much in the way of hops. Sweet flavor with a hint of the hops coming through, definitely can notice the fruity characteristics coming through. Light mouthfeel with a slightly bitter finish. 3Faveryrogue (80), Asslip, Illinois, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 24, 2009 Rating from memory. I hated this. Smelled of yeast, pale malt, with a fruitiness. Palate was watery, drinkable, but not pleasing. Had a funky vegetable note to the fruit, and a clean palate. Just not good. williamherbert (466), Syracuse, New York, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 24, 2009 Clear pumpkin orange or piss yellow, depending on the light. Head disappears but light film stays.
The smell is apricot, of course, as well as a dry wheatish (thought I don’t think there is any wheat) base that’s not altogether unpleasant due to the toasted malt and mild hop. Still ....
The taste has an almost musty German-style malt. Bitter and necessary for balance to the apricot, which has a welcome brown sugar taste. Still, a tad sweet but rich enough to prevent cloying.
Medium bodied and a little bubbly. Creamy and smooth. Pretty drinkable to the American palate. Sweet and pleasant. The consummate gateway beer. Strykzone (1468), Wood River, Illinois, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Aug 24, 2009 A three finger sized head is light gold in color and dissipates slowly. Beer itself is golden with light cloudiness. Moderate carbonation. A nose full of sweet fruit with a hint of funkiness. Flavor has less fruit than the aroma but it is still prominent. Some tart hops also add bitterness and dirtiness. There is a vegetable taste that doesn’t help. Occasionally a malt profile tried to pop up. Hops never asserted themselves. Fruit faded mid glass. I’m not sure what this beer tried to do but it ended up doing almost nothing well. angrybeerman (107), Dublin, Ireland

Golden colour with a nice white head. I remember it was quite refreshing. Very impressed anyway.
