Very "fresh" and well balanced beer. Smooth palate. Very fresh fruity apricot flavour with good maltiness and hoppyness. One of the freshest beer I’ve ever had. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Aug 23, 2009 Pours a thin gold with no head. Smells strongly of apricot and a light pine scent. Tastes very watery with the apricot hitting at the end. Not very bitter. Reminds me of an American macro. Mouthfeel is thin and highly carbonated. I would not likely purchase again.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 23, 2009 12 oz. bottle from Bigg’s. Pours clear, slightly hazy, gold with a small white head that doesn’t last too long. Aroma of grain, citrus, apricot, peach, and faint hops. Flavor lines up with the aroma, but it all doesn’t add up to anything particularly compelling. Medium body, highly carbonated, somewhat fruity aftertaste. GJF (492), Cedar Rapids, Iowa, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 21, 2009 Plenty of apricot and peach flavors and aroma here. It’s generally unbalanced to me, a sticky sweetness that could really use some more hop to cut. Not that great. illteez (11), Annandale, New Jersey, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 20, 2009 Usually get this on tap at various places, but tried 12 oz. Bottles recently because I was looking for something light and enjoyable. Tastes like an apricot ale and is better in the bottle than on tap where it is somewhat bland. Another great summer beer to be enjoyed after some yardwork or your weekly softball game drowland (1380), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Aug 19, 2009 its funny that this is pretty much there flagship beer and they have so many better beers that they either discontinue or that are just seasonal. its an ale but its fruity at the same time. it doesnt knock your over with any tastes but it doesnt bore you to death either. i had a pint last night at applebees, i always have a hard time describing this beer. just go drink it, but try some of magic hat’s other beers. this one one is average though. ericandersnavy (1051), crossroads, Texas, USA
