3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
The only thing on draft not a macro at a Marathon bar, hard choice! Served in a pint glass, amber’ish-yellow color with white head. Aroma of sweet malt, "mystery" fruit (I’m guessing apricot) and some mild hoppiness. Taste was much sweeter and fruitier then aroma led on. Medium body, moderate carbonation, sticky and maybe a little tart. A little too sweet and fruity for me.

Taste its overly herbal. No citrus or piney hop character. Malt character is more sugary than mouthful. Better on tap.

12 FLOZ. ($8.99 for 6 pack) tastes like rotten apricots. I vile taste that caught me off guard and continued to ruin me. I could not finish this beer is tasted so off. I understand some tastes but peach or apricots always a bad taste for alcohol. avoid unless you like gross shit.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
A: clear; honey colored; 1 finger white head that receded quickly; no lacing;
Poured from a 22 OZ bomber into a pint glass.
Aroma- has a nice aroma, with a slight fruit scent, apricot with a malt mix
Taste- A mild fruit beer to me, I can taste the apricot, the beer is slightly dry with a mild hoppiness
Palate- medium bodied with moderate carbonation and a dry finish
Overall- An OK beer I have had it before but it doesn’t thrill me. I would drink if again if offered but I wouldn’t seek it out.

Pours clear amber with low white head. Aroma is floral and lightly perfumey, light bread and citrus. Taste is sweetish and slightly floral again, some elderflower and honey in the finish. Light, smooth body with average carbonation.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Copper color with not much head. Aroma of fruit and earth tones. Taste of apricot, hops, vegetables. Don’t like the aftertaste, and i am not a fan of apricot. Resisting the urge not to pour down the drain.

Transfer from BA review on 1-5-13-
Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – Served an orange amber colored brew with a small white head. The head faded rather fast to leave a tiny amount of lacing on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is sweet and consists of fruit, candied sugar and caramel. The fruits are of the lighter variety with aromas of pear, peach and apricot present.
Taste – The taste begins with the lighter fruits that were detected in the nose. Peach and apricot are the most pronounced and are mixed with a subtle bready flavor. As the taste advances some caramel and candied fruit flavors with a more grainy like flavor come to the tongue. It the very end, a light floral hop taste joins the rest leaving a mostly light colored fruit flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer was on the lighter side in terms of its thickness with a carbonation level that was rather average. The two when combined with the fruit and sweet flavors make for a nice very easy drinker.
Overall – Overall a quite tasty and easy drinking brew. It’s fruity and sweet, but not really cloying. A nice session style brew.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: AUG 16, 2014 Had in town. $4.50 the bottle hiding in a barely-visible fridge under the cash register. It was a rusty golden beer; sustained a thin, white-ringed head barely a fingernail in length, for over 10 minutes of sitting. Tastes and smells of LME, lime-flavored seltzer, burnt plastic, lemon zest, stale garlic, melon rind, and apricot fruit leather (it’s brief, but it’s there). As Adam said, definitely experienced some underlying peppery flavor resmembling mild spice and earth. Meh. Instantly forgotten. Not bad, just not worth remembering. Everything comes all at once in this staggeringly feeble Magic Hat brew. I didn’t find it very cohesive.

On draft at The Charles Town Casino. Smallish head deep golden color. Nice fruity aromas. Apricot. Peach. Pineapple. Fake cherry. Flavor fell off a bit. Candy cherry lingers and a slightly bitter aftertaste. Would have liked to just sit and smell it.
