COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Beer Cloaked in Secrecy An ale whose mysterious and unusual palate will swirl across your tongue and ask more questions than it answers. A beer brewed clandestinely and given a name whose meaning is never revealed. Why #9? Why, indeed. A sort of dry, crisp, fruity, refreshing, not-quite pale ale. #9 is really impossible to describe because there’s never been anything else quite like it. Fermented with our 150 year old strain of top-fermenting English yeast.

UPDATED: MAY 13, 2008 Bottle. I first had this a while back and have had it a few times since. Personally I found this beer to be quite enjoyable. It has a good apricot flavor, and good crisp flavor.

Draft pours hazy orange with a thick frothy white head. Aroma is grain and apricot, bread, very zesty. Taste is not overly sweet but a good balance of mild hop and bready malt with a good taste of apricot. Slight earthy bitter finish. Medium body, smooth carbonation.

light copper body that reeks of wet wheat and rotten apricot/peach...flavor is a mild wheat profile with little else to offer..hints of such fruit is present as well..very basic and boring overall

Interesting apricot character in the nose and flavor. A clean, mostly dry fruit beer. Very easy drinking but not exceptionally complex.

Aroma is a kind of cereal and fruit mash. Apricots stand out. Amber/tea colored with a thumb thick white head and moderate lacing. Watery fore followed bya grainy apricot tinged middle and finish. Flavor is fairly low intensity and watery and not something I really care for.

Draft @ Barracudas. Pours hazy golden yellow color with white head. Aromas of peaches and apples. Flavor is peach syrup. Light to medium body with average carbonation.
