COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Beer Cloaked in Secrecy An ale whose mysterious and unusual palate will swirl across your tongue and ask more questions than it answers. A beer brewed clandestinely and given a name whose meaning is never revealed. Why #9? Why, indeed. A sort of dry, crisp, fruity, refreshing, not-quite pale ale. #9 is really impossible to describe because there’s never been anything else quite like it. Fermented with our 150 year old strain of top-fermenting English yeast.

Amber body with a small wispy white head. Silage and nutmeg-spicy white bread aroma. The flavor is light, dry, citrus oily with dusty caramel malt. Green, viney finish .

Drank it about a million times, and now am finally rating it. Pours out a straw color with a fruity aroma. The taste isn’t overlly complex, just notes of apricot and sweet malt, agree with previous raters that it needs a kick on the hop end of things, Dogfish’s aprihop is a much better choice

Cybercat (1734) - Georgia, USA - APR 19, 2008
Pours a clear, orangy-golden amber with a decent off-white head. Aroma is rich and fruity, malty with strong strawberry component (and I love strawberries!). Flavor is strong and malty with a definite strawberry undertone. Very smooth and a little sweet, definitely refreshing.

UPDATED: JUL 10, 2007 Bottle, pours a hazy orange with a weak head. Smells of fruit, like a peach. Taste was thin. It’s just ok. Not for me.

12oz bottle. Pours clear golden with white head. Aroma is fruity with some light hops. Flavor is light and crisp with light fruits, grain, malt and light hops. Thought it was going to be a pale ale based on the label so was a little disappointed to find out it was fruit beer. Decent summer session beer.
