COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Apricot flavouring
A Beer Cloaked in Secrecy An ale whose mysterious and unusual palate will swirl across your tongue and ask more questions than it answers. A beer brewed clandestinely and given a name whose meaning is never revealed. Why #9? Why, indeed. A sort of dry, crisp, fruity, refreshing, not-quite pale ale. #9 is really impossible to describe because thereís never been anything else quite like it. Fermented with our 150 year old strain of top-fermenting English yeast.

Poured from a bottle to pint glass. Pours a clear golden color with fair amount of white head. Large amount of carbonation bubbles are present. Smells very fruity and kinda like apricots. Very sweet and fruity to the taste. Smooth and easy to drink.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden-amber with a bubbly white head. Sweet malt and yeast aroma, with some citrus, sugar, bread. Taste starts light with a bit of yeast behind it, then picks up a lot more grains and just a hint of citrus hops. Lingering grainy yeast. Not bad.

This is a fruity type Ale for people who normally hate that type of thing. (People like me) But I will be damned if I donít like this one. Smooth and it does not wear you out with a flowery arouma.

Aroma is mute of fruit and light of bread. Appearance is typical. Taste is hard to capture. Best explanation is a American Pale ale that has had its hops replaced with fruit and aromatics. The taste of pale fruit & aromatics is the theme here. This brew leaves scents of rose that lingers long on the tongue. Its an interesting experience not sure if I like it or not. Its not my favorite beer by any means but its not bad.

Kinda strange, this one is. Fruity notes. Some hop/pale background. Doesnít really fit together into something all that delicious. Pass on this one..

Bottle at home from publix supermarket orlando. Pours murky amber with off white head. Light spice, apricot, peach, toffee. Flavour follows nose with apricot more prominent on finish. Light body with a little too much carbonation. Not quite a pale ale is right but refreshing on a warm day.

A fair to middlin pale Ale. Clean and crisp, nice malt and hop balance, drinkable, but not a larger favorite.

Aroma: A very sweet, fruity aroma--dried apricot and possibly mango--with hints of spice. Appearance: Clear amber with a white head that dissipates quickly. Taste: Medium sweetness with hints of sourness at the edges. Palate: Medium body, heavy slick texture, soft carbonation, long fruity finish. Overall: Meh...a bit too sweet for my taste. Iím not disappointed, but Iím not blown away, either.

355ml bottle, poured into a tulip glass. Clear amber colour with a light fruit aroma. Nice head, which reduces but remains for the duration. Good carbonation. Light, dry taste - not too sweet, apricot and some malt.

Poured from bottle into a pint glass: Pours amber with a one finger white head. Aroma of citrus, slightly floral, and a bit of Belgian funk. Taste is sweet, citrus, honey. Light to medium body, high carbonation, not a lot going on. Itís OK.

"Notes: Peach and/or apricot are the main players in the aroma. Very light hopping...very light beer for that matter. Would be pleasant enough as a summer brew, just not much going on - but whatís there is pleasant."
