COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Apricot flavouring
A Beer Cloaked in Secrecy An ale whose mysterious and unusual palate will swirl across your tongue and ask more questions than it answers. A beer brewed clandestinely and given a name whose meaning is never revealed. Why #9? Why, indeed. A sort of dry, crisp, fruity, refreshing, not-quite pale ale. #9 is really impossible to describe because there’s never been anything else quite like it. Fermented with our 150 year old strain of top-fermenting English yeast.

Bottle. Aroma is quite plain, as well as the appearance. Taste wise though, this beer kept me guessing. A just above average beer in my opinion.

Kinda strange, this one is. Fruity notes. Some hop/pale background. Doesn’t really fit together into something all that delicious. Pass on this one..

Bottle at home from publix supermarket orlando. Pours murky amber with off white head. Light spice, apricot, peach, toffee. Flavour follows nose with apricot more prominent on finish. Light body with a little too much carbonation. Not quite a pale ale is right but refreshing on a warm day.

A fair to middlin pale Ale. Clean and crisp, nice malt and hop balance, drinkable, but not a larger favorite.

Aroma: A very sweet, fruity aroma--dried apricot and possibly mango--with hints of spice. Appearance: Clear amber with a white head that dissipates quickly. Taste: Medium sweetness with hints of sourness at the edges. Palate: Medium body, heavy slick texture, soft carbonation, long fruity finish. Overall: Meh...a bit too sweet for my taste. I’m not disappointed, but I’m not blown away, either.

355ml bottle, poured into a tulip glass. Clear amber colour with a light fruit aroma. Nice head, which reduces but remains for the duration. Good carbonation. Light, dry taste - not too sweet, apricot and some malt.

Poured from bottle into a pint glass: Pours amber with a one finger white head. Aroma of citrus, slightly floral, and a bit of Belgian funk. Taste is sweet, citrus, honey. Light to medium body, high carbonation, not a lot going on. It’s OK.

"Notes: Peach and/or apricot are the main players in the aroma. Very light hopping...very light beer for that matter. Would be pleasant enough as a summer brew, just not much going on - but what’s there is pleasant."

Taste its overly herbal. No citrus or piney hop character. Malt character is more sugary than mouthful. Better on tap.

12 FLOZ. ($8.99 for 6 pack) tastes like rotten apricots. I vile taste that caught me off guard and continued to ruin me. I could not finish this beer is tasted so off. I understand some tastes but peach or apricots always a bad taste for alcohol. avoid unless you like gross shit.

A: clear; honey colored; 1 finger white head that receded quickly; no lacing; Poured from a 22 OZ bomber into a pint glass. Aroma- has a nice aroma, with a slight fruit scent, apricot with a malt mix Taste- A mild fruit beer to me, I can taste the apricot, the beer is slightly dry with a mild hoppiness Palate- medium bodied with moderate carbonation and a dry finish Overall- An OK beer I have had it before but it doesn’t thrill me. I would drink if again if offered but I wouldn’t seek it out.
