COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Apricot flavouring
A Beer Cloaked in Secrecy An ale whose mysterious and unusual palate will swirl across your tongue and ask more questions than it answers. A beer brewed clandestinely and given a name whose meaning is never revealed. Why #9? Why, indeed. A sort of dry, crisp, fruity, refreshing, not-quite pale ale. #9 is really impossible to describe because there’s never been anything else quite like it. Fermented with our 150 year old strain of top-fermenting English yeast.

UPDATED: JUN 18, 2011 33o ml bottle in the USA. Little head nice amber color. Apricot aroma, and taste helps hide the low quality beer. Hoppy aftertaste. Not bad for a hot summer day but falls ito the flavored beer follies.

Pours light amber with thin head. Aroma of pears, apricots, and licorice (in a chemical sort of way). Tastes like watered down bitter apple juice. Not sure what people see in this one.

Appearance: Translucent gold with minimal head. Not much aroma, a bit of hops? weak apricot flavor, with a bitter finish. Not great, but not terrible.

Passion fruit /peach aroma leads to an over carbonated malty palate with slight peach after taste. I’m not sure what they were trying to accomplish but very average

Pours a lighter copper, little head. Nose is powerful of peaches. It is pretty light and crispy, lots of fruit flavors. Not as fruiting as a typical fruit beer, more beer flavor, but still sweet, not sour.
