3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Another decent, but not a knock-your-socks-off brew by MH. Poured a deep dark brown color, some mahoganey edges. Nice initial tan head that left really nice lacing rings on the glass. Aroma was of coffee and roasted malts. The flavor was of coffee, roasted light chocolate, some licorice, and something else I couldnít identify. Pretty decent, not outstanding. Typical for MH, one of the better flavor for your dollars brewers out there.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours dark brown, smells of currant, spices and roasted coffee beans. It has a very earthy feel to it. The flavor was dark and smoky as well. Not exactly what I would call a porter, but it was very good. Went down smooth, I say put it into production and call it Weim Time!

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pours very dark with a ruby hue and a small tan head. Aoma is smokey malt. Hit with smoke to start this beer and then taken over by a citrusy tartness. Bitter coffee bean finsih. Unique but not wht Iím looking for in a porter.

Draft @ David Copperfields. Deep dark brown in coor with no head. Roasty chocolately aroma. Malty and chocolatety flavor. Butterscotch notes. Finish is bittersweet. Medium bodied. Ok.

Draft at David Copperfields. Nice cocoa aroma comes from a small head. Taste is mellow bittersweet chocolate thatís a bit on the buttescotch side. Not bad and typical Magic Hat.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hazy dark brown with a thick fluffy tan head, mysterious batch 373 is an unusual version of a porter. While the hops are resiny and at the forefront in the aroma, they take a supporting role in the flavor which is tart, smoky and strong with maple flavor. Medium bodied with a citric overtone throughout, 373 adds an unanticipated twist to the porter style.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from a Magic Hat sampler pack. Not as rich as I had expected, although fairly good. Roasty flavor had a hint of something off, but I could not figure out what it was -- citrus-like or bitter. Palate was too watery. Not bad.
