4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
The appearance in this beer is a amber, maybe even dark amber, with a nice head. It’s hops aroma are great and noticeable in the best of ways. It has great flavors, a little bitter, but great all around.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from bottle. Strong, slightly harsh aroma of hops and grass. Pours a bold, opaque amber. Flavor very hoppy and very floral. Also notes of rye, grass, apricot, some kinda veggie. This is no typical amber ale. More like an American Pale Ale. For all its flavors, still quite drinkable. Mouthfeel gets creamy as you drink. Finished nicely.

(Rating #659)

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours amber with a large tanish red head. Sweet hoppy citrus fruits, with mango, apricot, and pine. Amer ale flavor with some extra hoppiness... lots of grapefruit and a hint of peach or apricot. Surprisingly good.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Lightly hazed amber ale with a thin lacing white head. A pungeant hops in aroma, with pot like qualities. A light caramel malt in mouth, with nice funkey hops action, light grapefruit, and pinhous notes. Very nice body, oily mouthfeel. Good, pleasing and surprising. 3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Much thanks to grassrootsvt for this special bottle via Todd Haire at Magic Hat... Appears an amber color with a small white head and scattered lace that sort of resembles the Hi.P.A. only better. Smell is of plenty of dry hops(all Simcoe) with piney & orange mix. Ringwood yeast is evident in the aromas with mild butter notes. Taste is of the above aromas with mild caramel notes and a touch of vanilla. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with some sweetness that fades to an even balanced bitter brew. Not a bad outing from our friends in South Burlington.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Recently I’ve had a few disappointing efforts from MH they nail this one pretty well. Surprisingly dark amber color with nifty white head leaving some lacing. Nice spicy hop and citrus aroma. Good soft caramel and spicy hop interplay. Medium bodied, quaffable with definite presence.

Bottle - Poured a nice darkish golden amber in color with a nice white head. Aroma is strong of spicy hops. Flavor is really bright eith an awesome piney-grapefruit flavor that seems to permeate everywhere (!!). Finsh is citrusy and medium bitter. I really like this! Please make this a regular offering!!!! Hop heads unite!
