Poured from a 12 oz. bottle, very dark, nearly black with a small tan head that receded quickly. Little to no lacing. Nice flavor that was unexpected, black malt notes with overtones of coffee and spice (perhaps clove?). Smooth mouthfeel with spice/malt finish. Was pleasantly suprised with this one.

bk, full-body, §head, balanced, a nice "schwartz" T2, smooth and ^drinkable, good thru.
i had to stop in a couple more times just for this beer until the keg was empty, it’s the best Magic Hat beer i’ve had.

acrid smoke that is flavorful and mild. clearly reinvented as the "wolf" black as night brew i had today. 4.6% abv seems weak for winter but perhaps, a nice winter session with a licorice and hint of pepper it is well enough carbonated at first taste but moderates to a sudsy dishwater, still flavorful in some order. hard to dislike and odour of fruit.
