estoppel (960), Buffalo, New York, USA Nov 5, 2007 Draft. Somewhat cloudy orange body, medium white head, typical witbier nose with banana, spice and citrus. Typical witbier flavors, nothing special. swoopjones (1018), Buffalo, New York, USA Nov 1, 2007 On tap @ Coles their latest Wonderbeer Series. Lightly cloudy some mild spice (Coriander, yeast, lemon). Decent wit jason (1457), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 5, 2007 Draught. Pours a cloudy yellow golden body with thin head. Aroma is faint - lemon, spices. Flavor is heavy perfume, light citrus, spices - corriander, yeast. The beer was not as balanced as I would have liked, at times it seemed to be all over the place. Not bad. TomDecapolis (2318), Collegeville, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 22, 2007 Tap at Ortino’s Northside. Pours a lightly hazy golden orange with a medium foamy lacing white head. They served this one with a lemon but I think I got rid of it quick enough so that it didn’t mess with the beer too much. Aroma of lemon, corriander, wheat and grassy. Flavor of lemon, corriander, some tart wheat, sweet maltiness, tingly carbonation and cereal grains. muzzlehatch (4422), Burlington, Vermont, USA Jun 7, 2007 Draught pint at Three Needs, mid-May 2007. Properly hazy-to-opaque light yellow-amber body with a surprisingly stable creamy white head in this standard pint glass....nice aroma, very cookiedough-yeasty, lemony with a fair amount of spices: coriander, a bit of ginger, and with some warmth, overripe banana and vanilla notes appear....full, well-balanced body, with a lovely pale malt presence throughout and moderate sweetness dissolving slowly into a citric/sourdough tartness at the finish...the carbonation level is just a touch too high for me, resulting in a slight thinness/soda quality right at the end, but otherwise this is very well-made, refreshing and pretty true to style. A really pleasant surprise from Magic Hat.
