COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
...created to aid in deciphering the puzzles along lifeís road, and interpreting signs in the voyages of the spirit. Brewed in homage to the wisdom of visionaries everywhere who blaze paths into uncharted territories. Our take on an India Pale Ale (IPA.) A deep golden amber ale with a rich up-front malty nose finishing with a big, hoppy bite. Dry-hopped to finish with a big fresh (Cascade) hop flavor. Fermented with our 150 year old strain of top-fermenting yeast.

Not bad. Not very hoppy, more malty. Looks nice and pours light golden brown. Enjoyed it, but glad only got one.

Bottle. Pour is a hazy orange with white head. Lots of malts, not a lot of hops. This didnít strike me as an IPA, but it is once, I guess?

Bottle from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours clear amber/copper with an off-white head. Aromas f fruit and roast malt. Med body or better. Flavor is caramel with a lot of earthy hop. Maybe some citrus and floral. The cascade citrus doesnít seem prominent. Itís very balanced, quite tasty. Hop burn is slight. NW no. Good ale, yes.

NOT an IPA!!! Learn to label your beer correctly and maybe reviews would be better. Tastes like Heineken. Trust me.

AWISLguy (1143) - Wisconsin, USA - AUG 19, 2013
Bottle from Binnys single rack. Pours an orangey brown with a white head. Very cloudy. Aroma has toffee and pine. Taste is of pine and thick caramelly malts and some resin. Medium bodied and muddled. Magic Hat continues to not impress. IPA nothing to the level of the band ....

Bottle to half-pint glass (shared with the Mrs.). Looks solid; a cloudy (malty) dark orange with thin off-white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells malty, mildly hoppy, and a bit sour. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. The sourness is unexpected, but it is refreshing. Belgian yeast? Hope it isnít just my bottle.

Great hop fueled aroma. Very cloudy dark amber color. The taste starts off with the fruitiness of the hop, Then turns to an almost coffee bitter of the hop. Very dry finish on this beer. Finally something other then #9 available on the west coast!

12 oz bottle pours hazy amber with a white head. Aroma of malts and citrus. Taste is malty with only a hint of citrus. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Cloudy, medium amber color. Good head. Minor initial aroma. Slight malt profile. Little to no hop bite. Smooth taste...for a lager, not an ipa. Not a bad beer, just a bad ipa.

Strangebrewer (828) - Chatham, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 15, 2013
bottle. Poured hazy medium amber with a small creamy white head. Big citrusy nose. Light-medium body, prickly carbonated mouthfeel, tart puckering finish. Flavour of grapefruit with a touch of spice, too acidic.
