Our take on an India Pale Ale (IPA.) A deep golden amber ale with a rich up-front malty nose finishing with a big, hoppy bite. Dry-hopped to finish with a big fresh (Cascade) hop flavor.
Fermented with our 150 year old strain of top-fermenting yeast.

UPDATED: APR 28, 2006 Amber-beige colour. Light woody hop notes in the aroma with a whole grain bread background. Moderate bitterness. Quite woody. Slightly watery texture. Ok, but that’s it.

I think my favorite of all Magic hat’s beers, Great nose, malt with a bit of the hop flowers hiding underneath. The finish is a big hop spicy bite that is quite interesting. Above average like ability.
