2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cool label; interesting name (describes the religion of some people I know). Bright head, lovely copper color, fairly clear. Very inviting nose. Nice aroma: piney & grassy. Earthy malt backbone seems a little on the ’unfresh’ side (my bottle was not old though). Although, it did have some decent vanilla and cookie flavors. Like many other Magic Hats, it seems a little on the thin side. Also seemed ’wet’ and not very rich. But at least the hops provided a nice bitterness... and some olfactory sensations. It seemed to get a little better further down the glass.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
I thought I didn’t like IPA’s, but this one’s pretty decent. It has a very interesting flavor, which grew on me with each successive sip. A well rounded beer.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
nice floral aroma, deep golden amber, just as it says, but a bit cloudy The flavor is smooth and hoppy, with a sharp dry hoppy finish. A very tasty brew, interesting flavor combinations, that I would love to try again.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Off tha mark for a serious lack in floral hoppiness and overall bitterness. Needs a serious dose of BALLS! A very mild IPA.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cloudy, apple-juice appearance, thin white head, with a roasted grain, black pepper, mild hops, and citrus nose. Flavor is a bit stale, bland, and yeasty, reminiscent of wet hay, orange rind, hops, and grain, oats perhaps. Finishes weak and quick, leaving a dry mild nuttiness. A very mild IPA.

3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
They dry hopped this so much it smells like hop pellets. The taste is very big in hops and this beer just doesn’t seem balanced enough in the malt department.
