3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 ucusty (2670) - raleigh, USA - JUL 15, 2008
Copper pour decent head that leaves a nice lace behind. Piney aroma. Malty sweet up front with a cascade hop finish. Good, but a far cry from some others I’ve had

Cloudy amber pour. Roasted malts and caramel. Deep and richer than it looks. Good ipa.

Meh. Not bad for an IPA, but not good. Pours with a rather thick head, but doesn’t have the level of hops I expect from an IPA. Easy on the palate, but fairly unremarkable.
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 rlaw (826) - Alabama, USA - JUN 1, 2012
Bottle. Pours a deep golden with a medium-sized white head. Aroma is caramel, a bit sweet, grapefruit, piney hops. Flavor is sweet malt up front, then lots of sourish, soapy yeast and grapefruit hops. Quite bitter. Not my thing.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 TOSG55 (119) - Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA - MAY 30, 2012
Bottle. Pours cloudy straw-amber with medium head. Aroma is a little weird - soapy, with some sweet malt and a hint of citrus hops. The flavor is somewhat nicer, with the bitter pine flavors of the Cascade hops balanced reasonably well by toasted malts. The finish is a bit bready. A so-so IPA.

12oz bottle-thanks Tim-pours amber with a big offwhite head. Aroma is tropical fruit, some medium malt. Taste is spice/slight tropical fruit hops, some medium malt-bready.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Scrapersnbeer (461) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - MAY 26, 2012
Blind Faith is one of the first IPA experiences I had. Back in school I had one friend who was obsessed with this brewery and nearly arrested by the Vt Highway Super Troopers as a result. Now it doesn’t seem like a typical india at all...aroma of grapefruit hops is there, but also a strong presence of caramel malt. Color is orange, and opaque. Flavor’s bitter up front and sweet and mineral infused towards the end. Medium body, not as biting as many examples. Good for memories and not bad at present as well.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20 pottygok (240) - Ohio, USA - MAY 22, 2012
Aroma: Floral hops with hints of doughy yeast underneath.
Appearance: Cloudy caramel with a rich, tan head.
Taste: Medium bitterness with hints of sweetness in the finish.
Palate: Full body, thick texture, lively carbonation, long finish.
Overall: Meh...it’s okay, but not stellar. There’s really nothing standout about this beer.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 KajII (465) - Macon, North Carolina, USA - MAY 22, 2012
Bottle. The pour was a cloudy copper orange with a large (2-3 finger) white frothy head that was mostly lasting, receding down to a large cap with fair streaky lacing.
The aroma was of a light sweet bread malt, grassy hops and a soapy yeast with notes of caramel, honey, citrus (orange) and maybe a touch of dried fruit (figs).
The taste was lightly malty sweet with a mild hint of caramel early on, becoming a bit hoppy with a light citrus note and a slight bitter finish. The flavor lasted an average amount of time after the swallow leaving behind a light smooth bitter aftertaste.
Mouthfeel was just a hair above light in body with a watery dry texture and a medium carbonation.
Overall a pretty basic IPA, although it possessed a good drinkability it did not have any outstanding qualities...

Bottle: Pour is light copper/orange with a medium foamy head.
aroma is pretty standard, light citrusy and resinous hop over a caramel malt base.
Flavour is medium malt sweetness. Bready and caramel. Hop presence is piney and slightly fruity. Smooth body with a lingering almost dry herbal bitterness.

12 oz. bottle. Party rate. Nice hoppy aroma, and taste has some huge astringent hops for a single IPA. Finsh was a bit peppery. I would have liked to have a bit more overall balance, but this is still a very serviceable IPA.
