warrior (213), Mt. Wolf, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 7, 2006 Beer is an amber color that poured with a small head that faded fast. Aroma is full of hops that dominate with a little bit of malt coming through. Very good hop flavor and bitterness with some malt in the finish. Beer also finishes with a dry bitterness in the end. A very good easy drinking IPA not as full bodied as some other IPA’s I like but that is because they used less malt. The nice thing is I can drink several of these in a session versus some of the stronger IPA’s that are 7% and stronger in alcohol. A good "session IPA".
bsm80 (63), Massapequa, New York, USA Sep 6, 2008 Very hoppy beer, of course as are most IPAs...not being a fan of most IPAs, this was decent for the genre. ucusty (1062), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Jul 15, 2008 Copper pour decent head that leaves a nice lace behind. Piney aroma. Malty sweet up front with a cascade hop finish. Good, but a far cry from some others I’ve had metsbcd (81), Connecticut, USA Jul 15, 2008 Had this one a while ago. It was a solid, but unspectacular beer. Pretty hoppy. phishpond417 (1418), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA May 19, 2008 Pours a light copper colour with a medium sized white head. Floral, and slightly piney- aroma is pleasently hopped. Initial taste of sweet malts which quickly pans out into grapefruit and tangerine. Finishes semi dry. changeup45 (567), Orlando, Florida, USA Apr 12, 2008 This is a nice all around beer. If not my favorite certainly one of my favorite from Magic Hat. Copper color topped with a medium white head that leaves a nice amount of lacing on the glass. Maintains a nice head throughout. A very smooth fruity taste with a hops flavor as well. Very slight bitter, hoppy finish. A great balance to this beer!
