aroma: lemony, taste: lemony, appearance: lemony, it’s almost like they took a barrel of hefeweizen and poured a few gallons of lemonade in it, but it’s not too overpowering, liked it a lot

A large citrus smell and flavor. Had from a 12 oz. bottle and I found it quite palatable, though I do have a liking of wheat/hefeweizen from time to time. I had a hard time calling it as the Commercial Description describes it: Spice/herb/vegetable. It is on par with most other weizens I’ve had but not spectacular by any means.

12 oz bottle. Poured hazy gold in color with a small white head. Aroma has mostly grassy notes. Taste is basically lemongrass with fruity esters. Leftover citrus and sweetness in the finish. I expected better.

Could have been so much better ... lacked the acidic punch I would expect from a hefe, even if they say that the lemongrass is the main note. Kind of a bummer, expected much more.

Floral aromas hazy pour slightly spiced, herbal taste smooth mouthfeel decent beer. you can definitely taste the lemon grass Id say for a cheap, widely available beer this is very nice

honestly, I’m surprised this one rates *so* bad...I mean, it’s not hugely memorable, but certainly straightforward, crisp and enjoyable. sweet wheat and citrus flavors with a good dose of lemongrass...fades fast, but is nice while it lasts

bottle bb. April ’08 poured with good vigorous carbination and a two finger head of white froth that had good retention. color is light golden with a thin looking body. aroma of floral yeast, some dampness, and something else i assume is the lemongrass. mouth feel is on the light side with significant carbination on the tongue. flavor has the floral yeast, a light spice perhaps from hops, not much in the malt department, and some sweetness. finish goes towards dry with a little metallic bitter on the sides of the tongue and again that taste i presume is the lemongrass.

lemonish yeast on the nose, but not like bread, lovely murky gold in color. Not a real delicious taste and it lingers for a bit longer than I would like. sticky, thick feel, No all day drinkability. A little light for a sipper, but good for one or three.
