Rather a lemony sweetness to it. phanomial12 (3), USA does not count | 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Jan 24, 2008 This brew scores a 6 on my random 12 BCS. As with most Hefeweizens i see this as a drunk sorority girl giving a BJ. I choked it down with feelings of regret afterwards. Palidor19 (1762), Brandon, Florida, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 23, 2008 This beer does not work on many levels. First its too fizzy. Too much carbination. The malts are too weak with hardly any hops flavor to go with it. the lemongrass also makes it uninspiring. thechandler (268), Morgantown, West Virginia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 19, 2008 Pours a milky translucent tan, with a foamy white 2 finger head. Aroma is standard for a hefe, mostly citrusy wheat scent. Hint of peach, but mostly orange and lemon. Flavor is interesting. A bit different from most hefes that I’ve tried, but I can’t exactly put my finger on where. A bit more hop in the aftertaste than I’m used to with hefes, but it fits well. Generally the flavor is mostly wheat and citrus. There’s nothing too special about this particular hefe, but it is a hefe, and I’m a fan of hefes, and thus my score will be higher than most who aren’t. Definitely a good solid brew. avalon75 (9), Charleston, South Carolina, USA does not count | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 17, 2008 Poured from a bottle to a tumbler. Had a hazy, amber appearance with little head. Underwhelming aroma with some spices evident. The flavor was muted to a certain degree. Not overly impressive in this category. This beer seems to confuse subtlety with lack of existence. Not as interesting as its European hefeweizen cousins. lamas (715), Adams Morgan, Washington DC, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 15, 2008 Bottle. Please drink by end of: February. Pours a murky copper with a thin light-tan head. Lemony, wheaty aroma. Medium to thin-bodied. Starts with a bit of caramel and transitions nicely to some yeasty, lemony flavors. Very subtle herbal qualities throughout. Finishes a bit dry.
