Collint (452), Sylva, North Carolina, USA Jan 8, 2008 Poures a very quick head. Some lacing on the glass. The color is hazy orange, i thought it would of been more carbonated but it wasn’t. Taste like a cheap wheat, I am also eating pizza. scraff (1921), Baltimore, Maryland, USA Jan 8, 2008 Hazy golden orange, creamy white head. Soft earthy lemon wheat nose with underlying honey bread notes. Earthy citrus flavors balance on faint wheat notes. Light to medium bodied, soft carbonation, fruity finish. Was fine with pizza, but not really good for a stand-alone... SpudClampDawg (1027), Jasper, Indiana, USA Jan 7, 2008 12oz bottle: Pours the classic hazy gold with a firm, stubborn cap. The aroma notes ripe banana and bubble gum, with softer kisses of vanilla and citrusy grass. The body is creamy and refreshing, with strong hints of citrus (lemon and orange), wheat and balanced esthers. Finishes a bit dirty, but otherwise a well built wheat. ubamartian (155), Watertown, Wisconsin, USA Jan 4, 2008 Bottle. Pours cloudy gold. Small white head disappears quickly. Mild lacing. Aroma, wheat, citrus. Flavor is citrus, a clovelike spice, wheat. Light, a bit bubbly on the mouthfeel. Finishes mildly bitter in contrast to the light fruity flavors, and dry. Definately wont be seeing the inside of my beer cellar again.
punkeedo (465), San Antonio, Texas, USA Jan 3, 2008 Pours cloudy gold with very little head. Flavor bitter and unpleasant. Not a good hefe. I poured this out, as did the reviewer before me. Not a good sign. blipp (1631), Newark, New Jersey, USA Dec 30, 2007 Bottle. Appearance: Hazy goldenrod, white head. Aroma: Wheat, citrus, hops. Palate: Light and crisp. Flavor: Citrus, light hops, grassy. Overall: Kind of a boring beer. I dumped the last 1/3 of it out just so I could drink something else. BeerBelcher (930), Columbus, Ohio, USA Dec 28, 2007 Pours a yellow color, with a greasy haze (like pickle brine). Head is pretty insubstantial. Aroma is rusty, with a bit of citrus, but the citrus is definitely secondary. Flavor is a very faint citrus and cloviness, and is very mild. Mouthfeel is pretty sticky...like this stuff is pretty high in sugar. Not so good for a hefewiezen, but not bad for a "herb & spice beer." Not bad, but I don’t think I’ll be looking for this again.
I’d weakly recommend this beer. I bought this 12oz single at Brew&Brew in North Ridgeville, OH. ReademNwheat (174), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 28, 2007 From a bottle. Pours a hazy yellow/light copper color with some sediment settled on the bottom of the bottle. Aroma is of citrus... moslty citrus. Taste is the same. Dominated by citrusy/ lemon taste. Taste reminds me of lemon dishsoap.
