Dec 28, 2007 Pours a yellow color, with a greasy haze (like pickle brine). Head is pretty insubstantial. Aroma is rusty, with a bit of citrus, but the citrus is definitely secondary. Flavor is a very faint citrus and cloviness, and is very mild. Mouthfeel is pretty sticky...like this stuff is pretty high in sugar. Not so good for a hefewiezen, but not bad for a "herb & spice beer." Not bad, but I don’t think I’ll be looking for this again.
I’d weakly recommend this beer. I bought this 12oz single at Brew&Brew in North Ridgeville, OH.

Dec 28, 2007 From a bottle. Pours a hazy yellow/light copper color with some sediment settled on the bottom of the bottle. Aroma is of citrus... moslty citrus. Taste is the same. Dominated by citrusy/ lemon taste. Taste reminds me of lemon dishsoap.

Dec 22, 2007 a lot of people hate on the lemon flavor but i like it. my only complaint is that the carbonation at times can be a little too much.

Dec 12, 2007 (Bottle (best before end of 10/08) from <A HREF=http://www.ratebeer.com/Place/maine/augusta/l target=blank>Lou’s Beverage Barn) Just sort of OK...Pours lightly hazy light yellowish amber with a couple of fingers of off-white head. Aroma is sort of peppery with some hint of citrus and wheat malt. Mouthfeel is kind of grainy and pebbly, not real smooth. Flavor is pretty much based around a little bit of pepper and citrus - seems like it’s trying to be like a saison but doesn’t really cut it. Aroma was better than taste. Pass.

Dec 10, 2007 pours a yellow-amber with a white head. lots of lemongrass, esters, and malt on the nose. taste is like a dumbed-down HW, but not all that bad. i think this one got snubbed in the reviews a bit, or i just got a great batch. definately a session beer, though, don’t get me wrong. had it with fish@ a summer bbq and it was pretty good.

Dec 10, 2007 Poured a hazy golden yellow large head that disappeared quickly. It smelled of lemons and oranges. The taste was smooth and sweet with definite taste of lemons. Not much in the way of maltiness or hops. Nothing else noteworthy with this beer.

Dec 2, 2007 Lemongrass tartness takes this over the edge on first sips but mellows as you drink it. Artist licence used in making this brew. Not your Dads Hefe. May go well with some foods as mentioned earler.
