Commercial Description:
Editor's note: Yes, the bottle calls it a hefeweizen. The beer, however, is brewed with a (fairly hefty) portion of lemongrass, which contributes a significant aroma and flavor. Thus we have deemed it a Spice/herb/vegetable and not a German Hefeweizen, which should be free from adjuncts (other than hops).

Fairly bland, but with a touch of lemon. Cloudy, pale yellow color. Light body, but good head. Not my style, but refreshing.

Really not a fan of this bland beer. Poured excellent in color and head, but hardly had any taste at all. Maybe a hint of lemon and cloves. On tap at Smokin Joes.

lemongrass? How about you dont lie to customers who expect an attempt at an actual Hefeweizen! It’s funny they claim a true german style in the hefe when that wonderful country came up with the German Purity Law (Reinheitsgebot). This means no Herbs or Vegatables allowed! Having said that, this is not a terrible concoction. You can drink it...but you can do better.

Nearly clear gold with off white head. Something off putting about the aroma that I can’t get my nose around. Definitely not a German Hefeweizen. Drain pour.

I enjoyed this. Not a beautiful looking beer, but I really enjoyed the flavor of it. Delicious wit.

Zesty! Pours a cloudy amber with a medium white head. Nice aroma of lemon and malt. Smooth all of the way through. Decent "bite" from the lemongrass. A delicious summer beer.

12 oz bottle Martin’s Liquors in Mt.Laurel, NJ Light yellowish pour with a citrusy armoa with a medium bodied taste. I thought it was very enjoyable and easy to drink for a wheat beer. Good for summer occassions, best if ice cold.

Hazy maze color with thin white head. Aroma of lemon and wheat. Taste is a bit sour but smooth and medium-bodied. This is pretty smooth for a summer brew and pleasant.
