Commercial Description:
Editor's note: Yes, the bottle calls it a hefeweizen. The beer, however, is brewed with a (fairly hefty) portion of lemongrass, which contributes a significant aroma and flavor. Thus we have deemed it a Spice/herb/vegetable and not a German Hefeweizen, which should be free from adjuncts (other than hops).

Lots of spice in this wheat beer. A wide variety of flavors that didn’t seem to merge together well. It was an okay beer, but not something I’d go out of the way to get.

Not a great attempt at a hefeweizen. Too much lemon/citrus spices. The aroma shows signs of ill-matched herbs. Overfilling and not satisfying, disappointed for a mgic hat brew.

Nasty. Just plain nasty. Certified drain pour. Piss yellow / orange color, weird rotting vegetable aromas & flavors. Wish I could rate it lower.

Pretty well done. Polished flavor for a hefe. Someone had randomly brought this out to a party.

Bottle. Little cloudy yellow colour with a huge but fast disappearing head. Aroma of citrus and sulfo. Nice smooth flavour of malt, hops and some sweet caramel, very pleasant, but I prefer and original german hefeweizen.

In the bottle. Thanks to Peter J. for the beer. Pours a magical orange cloudy color with a thin white head that disappears as fast as the carbonation does in this beer. The orange and spicy aroma belies similar flavors. Serious wheat taste and a peppery tingle on the tongue at the finish.

These are always the last ones drunk out of any of the magic hat samplers we buy. Its not that its an awful beer but compared to the rest its just not as enjoyable and for a "hefeweizen" or even spice/herb/vegetable, its not that great. Pours cloudy with 1/8 inch head. Taste some citrus flavors. Tastes watery. flavor disappears quickly. WIll drink if thats all there is but will complain while doing so.
