2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 ozarkspops (201) - - JAN 21, 2013Light straw like pour. Hazy. Little white head and no lacing. Light wheat aroma. Surprisingly full flavor. Mild sweetness. Wheat malts. Not much noticeable hop presence. Lemongrass actually comes through a good bit and it fits pretty well with the typical hefe flavors.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 jbruner (1125) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - APR 24, 2013
Pours a clear golden yellow with minimal head and lacing. Aroma of German yeast and wheat, with overlying grassy notes. Taste is sweet citrus, grass, and wheat, no real yeast. This is mediocre at best, but easy to drink I suppose.
1.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 dwyerpg (4067) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - APR 22, 2013
This has a bit of lemon and orange fruitiness to it but also a quite strong wheat body. The tingle from the carbonation gives is a strange mouthfeel. Couldn’t drink it all. Knowing now that it has lemongrass basically fits my description...and I’ve yet to have a beer with lemongrass that made me want to have another.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Alpha10 (104) - Ontario, CANADA - APR 15, 2013
2013/04/15 - Pours a hazy, yellow straw color, with a small, fizzy, white head. Aroma is lemon, spice, grass and very faint banana. Taste is lemon, grass and slight wheat. Mouthfeel is thin and watery with less carbonation than expected. Not true to the hefeweizen style. Would not buy again.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 ryanscourt (278) - Pennsylvania, USA - APR 13, 2013
Pretty typical american version of hefeweizens, not containing those nice clove and banana flavors. This one does have some sweetness, more lemony and not really what i would want for this style. I try not to rate to style but, this is one of those styles where I want it a certain way and this is not representative of that. Hybrid styles are good and variations are good too, but I like it a little more true to hefewezien characteristics.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 That1Guy (1747) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAR 2, 2013
12 oz bottle pours a hazy orange with no head. Left the dregs in the bottle. Citrus, lemon, some skunk on the nose. Very faint aroma. Watery mouthfeel, pretty flat carb-wise. Not much going as far as hefeweizen tendencies go. Flavor is light lemon and banana runts.
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 flylikeabanana (158) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAR 1, 2013
Bottle puts a cloudy golden yellow with a thin white head. Tastes thin, wheat, lemongrass, and a malty finish. Overall pretty weak.
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 kramer (3880) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 15, 2013
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy yellow body with a small fizzy thin head that faded to a small island of foam rather quickly. The nose is dominated by the lemongrass very much, not exactly to style for a Hefe, glad this is in the S/H/V category. Very little wheat or yeast makes it past. The flavor is much the same, lots of lemongrass up front, but at least there’s a little yeastiness on the finish. Thin and watery body with soft fizzy carbonation. They pretty well ruined this beer with the spicing. Hope people don’t have this and think that this is what a Hefe is supposed to taste like.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 hotstuff (3340) - Indiana, USA - FEB 15, 2013
Backlog rating 12-15-2008 (Bottle) This beer poured a medium size white fizzy head, mostly transparent/slightly hazy body, and a yellow hue. The aroma is sweet, lemon, and citrus. The taste is sweet, fruity, lemon, and watery. The palate is smooth and this is a light bodied beer. I did not notice any spice aroma or flavor with this beer as indicated by the style. This beer needs more aroma and flavor as it was lacking in those areas and thus the low score. A bland tasting beer for me.
1.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 2/20 keanex (786) - Atco, New Jersey, USA - FEB 8, 2013
Indecipherable bottling information.
Appearance: The body has a slight haze in the light amber body, the head is thin and white and a steady stream of carbonation is rising to the head.
Aroma: The aroma is strong of citrus, mostly lemon, with a slight touch of floral hops. No noticeable yeast presence.
Taste: Wow, this is very bland, very watery, to call this a hefeweizen is a huge deception to the consumer. There’s no yeast presence, only light citrus with a watery slightly malty body.
Palate: Light bodied with slight carbonation with a slightly sharp presence.
Overall: I honestly put this on par with many light beers. This isn’t a hefeweizen, this is simply a watered down bland beer with a touch of lemon. I don’t even know if I can say that this has more flavor than a light beer. What a boring beer with almost no flavor or anything worth noting.
3.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 mrhillburger (12) - - FEB 6, 2013
Smells like bread, lemons and grass. Hazy yellow color. Tastes like lemon almost like lemon juice was poured in. Clean and crisp. Might be a cheap beer but I like it.
