Sep 15, 2007 Decent beer, tastes just like a pretty typical hefeweizen to me. Maybe a little more lemon than usual. Some yeastiness to the flavor. Light bodied and a little watery, but very refreshing.

Feb 19, 2008 12 oz bottle. Poured hazy gold in color with a small white head. Aroma has mostly grassy notes. Taste is basically lemongrass with fruity esters. Leftover citrus and sweetness in the finish. I expected better.

Apr 5, 2006 Somerville Beer Carnival 06 - Bottle. Pours orangish and clear. Aroma not really like a hefe. Taste has a little wheat and a lot of citrus and grassyness. Bad alcohol flavor and pretty thin. If this is a hefe it’s not a good one.

Mar 16, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours cloudy yellow/orange with a soft foamy white head. Smells of lemon, grains, and soured malt. Tastes of lemon, orange peel, the wheat flavor is a little funky, and some seasoning. The only reason this isnt rated better is because of something funky or sour. Like bad malt or slightly spoiled wheat.

Apr 26, 2007 Lite citrus, grainy, earthy, wheat aroma. Cloudy golden-white with lasting head. Mild wheat, citrus, grains, and mildly sweet malt flavour. Smooth with mild bitter finish.

Aug 3, 2008 Bottle - Ahh Circus Boy, what a trip. Had this a while back with a 20 or so beer session and it took the top spot for what ever reason. I think it was the overall pleasant weirdness that won us over(9) people) Texture, earth spice and hop mix just clicked, although I had this just recently and something about it just not what I remembered. Still, I like the beer from these guys and not at all bad, good stuff to try.

Oct 1, 2008 Pours hazy lemon color with a big white head. Aroma is slightly citrusy, flavor is of light wheat malt and citrus. Fairly weak but decent.
