No outstanding maltiness and very little hoppiness. Mostly the citrus and sulfur and a bit of peach. Hazy dull golden amber with thin off-white head. Light watery body with medium carbonation. Citrus fruit to start, with peaches and some carbonic gassiness. Grassy undertones with a bit of estery yeastiness. Light bitter finish and somewhat chalky and dry. Overall, a bit watery. Taste is caramel malts with a sharp tartness, I guess from the lemongrass. Not bad. Drew (2410), Kent, Ohio, USA

It seems to have more acidity than most heffes. Oh, I see we’re calling it a spice/herb brew - I can agree with that. Light golden and hazy, nice foamy head. Body is mostly smooth, a little carbonation. Refreshing and a nice summer drink badlizard (2409), Berkeley, California, USA

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 11, 2006 Wow, a MH and wheat fan here, but this was a flat out sucker of a beer.... and that’s after just having some horrid swill from Hondorus (ie. maybe this was worse than my review here, cuz anything coulda got inflated scores after that thing). The pour had a very nice initial head and the lacing was decent for an AmWheat. However, this thing, although "unfiltered," had to be filtered with something, as it was only "hazy" and there was nothing cloudy about it. Makes ya wonder what they used to brew it if this is unfiltered. The aroma was off, smelled like spring cleaning detergents, citrus, and wet sponges. The flavor was some sort of an Am Wheat base with citrus and spring flowers present. Lots of acidity in the mouthfeel, finishes somewhat tart and lemon-like, but nothing enjoyable about this one. A flat out terrible production by MH. Bring back the Humble Patience!!! This one certainly can’t sell better than that. Blah.
