Appearance: golden, lightly hazed wheat ale, large snowy white top. Rocky lacing. 3+-
Nose: golden malts with dusty aroma , little wheat character , hint of honey 5+
Flavor/Palate : Dusty front of honey and herbs. Mild soft mid bodied substance. Honey character with golden malts. Echo of Fortuna brewery ? It’s not bad but I would not call good either.

One bottle from Joe’s Garage pk. Poured very little head. Slight lemon aroma. Flavor of lemon grass. Not much carbonation. I still have another to try. Rerate 6/26/06 More carbonation in this bottle to give it a bigger head. Still had that odd aftertaste though.

Hazy blond color. Served too cold; it has light aroma and light flavor; very light wheat character, instead there is a spicy side, peppery, and light lemon. Simple.

MH calls this unfiltered, unfettered. I may add untested. Not sure what they were trying to do here, as the description mentions, it’s not really a hefe and doesn’t really come across as one. Pleasant spritzy nose of lemon and orange but its thin on the palate and more sour than refreshing. For an unfiltered beer it looked pretty clear to me. Drinkable but not a great effort from MH.

Quickly thinning head. Cloudy yellow. Residue in the bottle. Started off with a light fruit aroma, but then settles into a far away grassy herb scent. Very zesty. A little powdery. Thin. A hint of butter in the finish.

On tap at HDG. Orangey yellow in color with a nice white head. Banana and clove aroma. Malty and spicey flavor. Fruity notes. Clean tasting. Medium bodied. Ok.

12 oz bottle: Pours orangey light amber w/ a thin, but lasting off white head. Initial aroma is of autolyzed yeast, sort of like a big rubber eraser. Beyond the heavy yeasty aromas, there is a slight floral presence. The wheat malt character is very low. The description says they used lemongrass....I don’t get it, at least not in the aroma. The flavor is well balanced throughout, but a bit cardboardy. A bit of a dry finish, some light lemony flavors (there’s the lemongrass), stronger wheat malt flavor than in the aroma. A bit of a tartness up front, but fades into nothingness by the finish and aftertaste. Same w/ the overall flavor. It’s fairly weak and fades into itself. Wait...what’s this? A bit of an herbal hop flavor shows up late as the beer warms. Lighter body, but not watery, medium carbonation, but lightly prickly on the tongue. Overall, not a very exciting beer. We’ll call it a beginner beer! It’s also very possible the beer is past it’s prime. I got a mixed 12 pack from a co worker and I’ve got no idea how it was treated between the store and myself.

Smells like Thai dinner. I guess that spice is called lemongrass. Looks a bit too orange and clear to be a hefe. No head. Good call ratebeer on pronouncing it a spice/herb/vegetable beer. Has a hoppy taste in the palate and a dry mouthfeel. Interesting beer, not sure I want it again though.
