Ap - Poured a cloudy golden blonde. No head and a light lacing.
Ar - A fruity smell, almost a sour smell (although not unpleasant). This smell was clearer after the taste.
F - A definate apple taste, definately agree with the apple cider taste, alhtough I think it was fairly prevalent in the the taste.
P / O - Good, Easy going beer. Very refreshing. Not much hop but thats okay once in a while. Would drink again for sure.
BuckeyeBoy (1044), Boise, Idaho, USA Jul 7, 2008 Bottle Pours out a cloudy yellow with a hint of orange topped with a white head. Aroma of yeast and spice like a German hef. Picked up even a little clove. Tast of citrus and yeast quite the combo. odd dpjuart (500), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 6, 2008 Draft at Culpeppers. Pours hazy yellow with small white head slightly foamy. Nose is sweet citrus with mild banana and spice and some wheaty notes. Taste is mostly ctirusy fruit with a touch of banana and spice with a wheaty base. Crisp, clean finish. Not to bad. puboflyons (345), New Hampshire, USA Jul 5, 2008 From a 12 fl. oz. bottle with an expiration date of Jul. ’08. Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a foamy white head the dissolves quickly. Aroma is very yeasty and little fruity. The flavor has a complex mixture of citrus and spice. I like the idea that they used lemongrass in the recipe. This was a pretty decent brew. naivepegasus (136), USA Jul 5, 2008 Pours cloudy orange yellow with about two fingers of stark white, slowly dissipating head. A zest of lemon in the odor. Thin mouthfeel that starts with a hint of lemongrass and just ends in a nondescript slight hop bitterness. Meh. nick76 (1935), Tampa, Florida, USA Jul 2, 2008 The aroma is malty with some lemongrass, wheat, banana, hops, and yeast but is really nothing like a hefe. The appearance is hazy gold with a small head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is well carbonated making it smooth but thin. Overall it’s good just not hefe good.
