3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. The pour was a hazy pale yellow with a large white frothy head that dissipated quickly down to a thick film with a medium collar and had some fair spotty lacing.
The aroma was pretty basic for a Hefeweizen, with a mild grain malt and a soapy yeast and having notes of citrus (lemon), banana and a bit of coriander.
The taste was light and mildly sweet with a slight banana wheat presence early on, then became rather yeasty with a hint of lemon, a moderate dose of spice and a slight bitter citrus peel finish. The flavor was very short lived with the slight spicy yeast taste fading quickly after the swallow.
Mouthfeel was light in body and watery in texture with a unusually mild carbonation.
Overall a pretty basic Hefeweizen with a nice taste, a refreshing feel and a great drinkability. This is a brew that is light in alcohol and refreshing in taste, making it a great addition to any summer outing...

[5302-20130429] Tap. Light wheat grass aroma. Clear, pale yellow orange body with a medium-lasting foamy head. Wheatgrass lemon flavour has a light sweet finish. Light body. Tasty. (6/3/7/3/12) 3.1

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12 oz bottle into a pint glass.
A: Pours a hazy golden color. Itís actually pretty damn clear until the yeast is poured in - and even after, itís still not that cloudy. The head isnít anything to write home about, either. It isnít even a finger high, has an off-white color, and very poor retention.
S: Smells like a generic wheat ale. The ester notes are very muted...and even worse, seem off somehow. Wheat malt is the most prevalent note I pick up, along with a twinge of candied sugar.
T: Thereís lots of wheat to start, along with a slight spiciness. And then after that...nothing. The finish is empty in flavor. I guess it isnít bad, but thatís only because itís so devoid of character.
M: Well, if I have to pick something I like about this one, then Iíll say I enjoy how soft it feels. Itís a pretty sweet brew, as well, lacking the vibrant carbonation of some examples.
O: BOOO-RING. The simple fact that itís just really dull instantly makes it better than the abomination that was Seance, at least. In a way, I hate these boring beers simply because they create dull reviews...just like this one.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12 oz bottle from Tipsyís into a goblet. Pale, orange and clear with a fully diminished head, no lacing. Mild aroma of lemongrass, hay/straw, malts (pale, wheat), light citrus hops. Similar flavor, bland, lightly sweet and spiced. Light body with a thin feel. Not too good.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Poured from bottle. This head which dissipated quickly. Hazy banana color. Citrus, slightly peppery aroma. Taste is bland for the style. Disappointing. Light for the class and not full bodied.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Thin and sweet. The citrus flavor is just barely too much. Darker yellow in color, very slight cloudy appearance. Not a hefeweizen at all. more of a citrus flavored lager taste, with just enough wheat to be noticed.
