Demo is a deliciously dark lick of an India Pale Ale. Itís medley of roasted malts and heady hops will have your senses dancing to the beat of a different IPA.

Bottled. Poured clear iced tea brown with a creamy cap of khaki head.. looked great in the glass! The aroma picked up sweet, candied chocolate and biscuity malts with accents of earth, citrus, and piney hoppage.. not bad, but nothing really popped or was interesting. The flavor found dry-roasted black patent and much less specialty malt (chocolate showed more than anything else) at the core.. dry earthy bitterness surrounded, and a blend of miscellaneous bitterness joined black patent and bakerís chocolate on the finish.. balance was decent. Light-medium bodied with OK feel and flow on the palate.. not a great beer by any standards, but it was serviceable.

pinkzambia (1505) - Boise, Idaho, USA - MAR 28, 2011
Bottle: Murky dark brown with a frothy tan head that stays around for most of the drink with patches of sticky lacing as well. The aroma is hops, sulfur and eggs. The flavor is not as hoppy as you would hope for and the body is pretty thin with kind of a sweet, watery aftertaste. I wanted to be impressed, but found this beer lacking.

Moderate citrus hop aroma with light malt. Brown color with a medium tan head. Light bitter beginning that fades in the finish.

Sampler at the W&C in Ballwin, Mo. It poured a black color with an off-white head. The aroma was of grain, oats, cocoa powder, hops and minor pine. The flavor was earthy hop bitterness. Not a bad brew.

Pours a black color (which is to be expected). Aroma is full of hops up front with some malts, and grapefruit. Flavor has the hops and grapefruit mostly present with a little chocolate. Not too bad.

The aroma is piny and earthy with a touch of smoke to go along with the toasted malt and caramel. The appearance is dark red brown with a small er tan head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is a bit thin but well carbonated. I think this is a bit disappointing even though itís not a bad beer. The color is a bit light and the overall aroma lacking in punch.

Nice size beige head with very good lacing over the cloudy, dark brown body. Aroma is roasted malt, coffeed and herbal hops. Earthy flavors with the roasted malts in the forefront and spicy, resinous hops following through to the aftertaste. Medium bodied, decently carbonated mouthfeel with a lingering finish.

Bottle. Pours black. Tan head. Nose of musky hops, black malt and pine. Taste is ashy chocolate malt, bakerís chocolate and light hops.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown with a medium tan head and aromas if chocolate malt, an odd licorice presence and some medicinal smelling hops. Flavor isnít much better. Kind of a hodgepodge of things stuffed together without much direction or harmony. Additionally, it seems to have gone a bit sour.

A nice floral hop aroma that was too sweet for my tastes. The malts were a bit heaver in the body than I prefer, but still a decent hop profile.
