Bottle 12fl.oz.

Clear dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate, moderate to light hoppy. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, roasted, roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20121110]

Bottled. A black beer with a huge dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, butter, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, butterscotch, roasted malt, and a bit of caramel, leading to a dry finish. Thanks joergen for sharing.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is chocolate and toasted malt. Light alcohol presence. Toffee malty and light breadish. Dry roasted malty, breadish, light liqourice and dark malty finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of joergen. Pours an opaque black with a thick and rich beige head leaving quite some laces. Roasty, liquorish aroma. Medium body, roast and alcohol with some dark dried fruit. Dry and bitter finish. Never very IPA’ish though. 071112

Bottled. Deep amber colour, small head. Aroma is caramel, toffee, and some slight fruity and quite thick notes of tar. Flavour is syrup, toffee, mild toffee and roast. Quite pleasant Black IPA without all too much hops.

Bottle at yespr. Dark brown coloured with a medium sized beige head. Sweet and light roasted aroma of caramel and dried fruits with notes of chocolate. Sweet and light roasted flavour of caramel and dark chocolate with notes of hops. Hoppy finish.

Bottle. Pours a black color with a small off-whit ehead. Has a fruity malty hoppy caramel aroma. Fruity malty hoppy caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel hoppy finish.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are roast malt, hops, fruits, nuts, caramel and has dry finish. A little on the sweet side and hops are not at alle powerful.

Bottle. It pours an unclear, dark brown body and a small, off-white head. It’s quite roasted on the nose, with chocolate and some burnt hints. A touch of hops in the far back. Medium to full body, dry, with flavors of roasted malts and caramel. A nice bitterness kicks in towards the end. I expect much more hoppyness in a Black IPA. In addition, it was quite boring even if considered as a Porter or a Stout. 121110

Botella, thanks yespr. Deep dark brown colour. Roasty malty chocolate hoppy fruity aroma. Pleasant flavour of roasty malt, chocolate, dark fruit, hoppy fruitiness and with a good bitterness. Nice.
