COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dream Machine, an India Pale Lager or IPL, is a melding of varied visions of an India Pale Ale and an Amber Lager. Once poured, its light copper color delights the eyes and a citrusy hop aroma flows through the nose. Upon first sip, a smooth hop bitterness reveals itself - fresh, bold and slightly spicy - before subtle hints of mild maltiness appear. A big hop bite and a crisp, clean lager finish combine for a beautifully balanced beer. Take Dream Machine for a spin and let your reverie begin.

FROTHINGSLOSH (4971) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 3, 2014
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark golden-amber color with a large creamy orange-white head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sour, tangy, fruity hops. orange, bread dough and a bit of must. The flavor was tangy and bitter with notes of orange, grapefruit, lemon and bread. Medium length finish. Medium body. Ok.

12 oz. Clear burnt orange with a lasting small disc of cream. Smells of green herb, lemongrass, peach, toast and a hint of cotton candy. Taste is minty herb, light citrus zest, toast and a touch of dry grass. Light-medium body is smooth with a low carbonation and has a nice balance with a crisp lager finish.

Pours an amber to golden color. No real head to speak of. Aroma is bland. There is some hops to this. A bit of citrus. Some type of spice that you can taste at the tip. Ends with a bit of bitterness. Overall a mediocre beer that is not worth getting again. Drinkable but forgettable.

Pours medium gold with a wispy head that dissipates fairly quickly. Nice hop aroma. Initial taste is mild citrus with a distinct bitterness. The bitterness mellowed some as I worked my way through the beer and it became very drinkable. Pretty good overall.

12oz bottle. Cloudy, pale orange color. White foam. Aroma of an American beer. Cheap and lagered. Creamy texture. Very toasted flavor. Tasted of liquid Cheerios. Mild finish. Well balanced. Charming bitterness. I rather like it! (4040)

(bottle - 12 oz) Clear orange pour with a fluffy white head. Very light aroma of hops but mostly corn and dry grass. Dry and abrasive hop flavor at the start that fades quickly to nothing except a cloying and bitter aftertaste.

Clear light amber color. Totally bland aroma, taste and aftertaste. Recently finished some Sam Adams Double Agent IPL, which was twice the brew!

VTHopHead (1511) - Barre, Vermont, USA - APR 19, 2014
12oz bottle - Poured a hazy golden amber in color with a small white head that quickly faded to a thin covering over the beer. Aroma is mild of roasted malts and heavier of grassy hops. Flavor is medium hoppy... grassy/floral... with the slight roastiness providing some support. Nice clean finish. Average, but good.
