Dream Machine, an India Pale Lager or IPL, is a melding of varied visions of an India Pale Ale and an Amber Lager. Once poured, its light copper color delights the eyes and a citrusy hop aroma flows through the nose. Upon first sip, a smooth hop bitterness reveals itself - fresh, bold and slightly spicy - before subtle hints of mild maltiness appear. A big hop bite and a crisp, clean lager finish combine for a beautifully balanced beer. Take Dream Machine for a spin and let your reverie begin.

On draft at Splitsville Lanes at Downtown Disney, Orlando. Poured a light clear amber. Served in an icy mug, so let it sit for a while so could actually taste something. Aroma was lightly of citric hops. Flavor was light crackery malts, a very smooth middle without much going on, presumably a lagering effect, and a mildly citrus and pine hoppy finish. Not bad, but again, not inspiring.

This lager poured a nice amber colour with a minimal, white head. Sharp to the nose, scents include vegetables, hops and light vinegar. First swig was pretty good with flavours of hops most prodominant. Finish is bitter with grassy/spruce flavours lingering.

Flaska från ralphs, LA. Kopparfärgad med mycket vitt skum. Otäck doft av kemisk humle och malt. Maken är ganska lätt men inte bra.

Rated on 7-20-2014 (Bottle) This beer forms a large smooth off-white head that mostly diminishes, golden transparent body, fast rising carbonation, and spotty amounts of lacing. The aroma is citrus, grassy hops and fruity. The flavor is citrus, grassy hops, moderate bitterness, fruity, and some caramel malt. The mouthfeel is lively and this beer is medium bodied. This beer is quaffable and not overly hoppy tasting. It has a short bitter aftertaste.

Draft sample at epcot’s food and wine festival 2014 at the new craft beer area - more of a lager taste and feel with a harsh finish, than a hoppy pale brew. Not bad but the hops were very faint, with some pine. I wouldn’t say this is a good representation of the style. Plain and boring.

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, no bottle dating. Pours slightly hazy golden orange color with a 1 finger dense and rocky off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of lemon zest, orange peel, pine, honey, cracker, biscuit, herbal, floral, grass, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of citrus/pine hops and moderate bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon zest, orange peel, pine, honey, cracker, biscuit, herbal, floral, grass, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Fair amount of pine/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon zest, orange peel, pine, honey, cracker, biscuit, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice balance and robustness of citrus/pine hops and bready malt flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Nice clean lager flavor with minimal yeast esters present. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth and fairly crisp/sticky mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very solid IPL style. Good robustness and balance of citrus/pine hops and bready malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.
