COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dream Machine, an India Pale Lager or IPL, is a melding of varied visions of an India Pale Ale and an Amber Lager. Once poured, its light copper color delights the eyes and a citrusy hop aroma flows through the nose. Upon first sip, a smooth hop bitterness reveals itself - fresh, bold and slightly spicy - before subtle hints of mild maltiness appear. A big hop bite and a crisp, clean lager finish combine for a beautifully balanced beer. Take Dream Machine for a spin and let your reverie begin.

Bottle: Pours a nice golden color with a white head. Aromas are full of grassiness and some tropical fruit. The taste is nice and smooth with citrus and tropical fruits. Nice... not spectacular, but solid beer.

Drank from a twelve ounce bottle. Nice citrusy and grass aromas in this beer. A good variation of a IPA and a lager! But overall I feel it is a mediocre beer by Magic Hat.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours light amber with a slight white head. Aroma of citrus and fruit. Very light aroma. Med minus body. Flavor is citrus and light stone fruit, and a touch of light treacle. Finishes lightly fruity, lightly bitter and lightly exciting. Or not exciting at all. How this is under Imperial Pils blows me away.

Clear amber with lasting white head. Smells of grain with a light hop. Smooth and balanced malt base that the hops creep through to round it out. The flavor lasts way beyond the sip.

kramer (5064) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 30, 2014
Bottle. Pours a clear dark gold gold body under a one finger frothy white head that left some sticky lacing. The nose is decently hoppy with a citrusy kick over a bready malt base. The flavor is fairly hoppy, but fairly restrained in the bitterness. Not the cleanest or especially crisp on the finish, but itís drinkable. Light to medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation. Not the best among the style, but about on par with most Magic Hat offerings.

A golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet butterscotch malt with light herbal hops. In mouth, a sweet cloying malt with light grassy hops, mineral notes, boring.

12 oz bottle served ina pint glass. Look great in the glass with excellent clarity, plenty of visible carbonation and a large, creamy bone-colored head. The head is exceptionally durable. Aroma: fruity (citrus) APA with a solid malt base. Flavor: followas aroma. Great balance. Mildly bitter. Feel: excellent - lively but soft. Medium body. Smooth. O: an exceptional version of this style.

12 oz bottle. Iím gonna go on strike against Magic Hat! Most of my ratings for this brewery end up beeng negative and I have to wonder if Iím wasting funds trying to find a good one amongst their awful offerings. A word of warning to those who go there.

Clear brilliant copper like a brand new penny, under a wee foamy white head. Pleasantly grassy and leafy bitter aroma with a smooth biscuity undertone. Medium-full bodied with a nice doughy malty backbone, with a big hop profile of bitter grassy and resiny hops. Full yet balanced with a bright and bitter hop smack.

12oz bottle from Crossroads. Pours a clear amber color with a small foamy white head. Aroma of grain, sweet lemon, and a hint of caramel malt. Taste of grain, lemon pulp, grapefruit zest, grass, and pine.
