A golden haze for a summerís daze. Elder Betty is a weiss-style ale with a bready malt flavor balanced by a touch of hops and complimented by the tart berry flavors of elderberry.

Bottle poured a murky golden hue w/ a small quickly and fully diminishing white head. Moderate sweet aroma of grapes and berries. Initial flavor is a light sweet w/ a heavy bitter finish. Tastes are straw, raspberry, apple, lemon. Light bodied, watery texture, lively carbonation and a moderate astringent feel in the finish.

Appearance: translucent golden color, one inch head when poured, the head is on the smaller side minimal lacing on glass Aroma: sweet, fruit Taste: fruit, almost no bitterness, light, berry Palette: light body, no bitterness Overall: this is a great summer beer, extremely refreshing, great berry flavor that enhances the wheat beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, poured hazy gold with a thin white head. Fruity yeasty nose. Very fruity with wheat and yeast hints. A little on the sweet/bitter balance; possibly one of my top fruit beers.

12 oz. bottle served in shaker- poured a five percent turbid lightened copper color, white ring around the glass for a head with nominal lacing, medium carbonation even though I had forgotten I had this in the fridge for 3 months. Aroma of spring wheat and mixed berries. Hits the mouth with a light-medium body, malt does have some mass on the tongue, berries, citrus, and melon in the middle, finish has a song of hops- but thatís about it. Great metaphor for my life right now- didnít realize I had this beer, jacked up month, canít listen to music (my old station sucks now, playlist is fíd up, and the tube is one big hassel), canít go anywhere, canít get the hell out of this damn state- itís gotta change.

12oz into a pint, berries everywhere. Pours a golden yellow. Head is large and frontal. Taste is berries, blue, some straw, and juicy fruit. Sometimes a bit too sweet. Carbination is light, which leads to quite an easy drinker. This is a good beer to have just one in one sitting. Good to have in a mix pack. Again, another stand out beer for the summer, easy, light, refreshing, tasty, and not too heavy. but those berries are sweet betty.

Pours a hazy gold with a paper thin white head. Aroma of wheat, berries and slight citrus. Taste is sweet malt and sweet berries, tastes artificial, a bit like berry ice cream. A bit over the top on sweetness ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Appearance: very hazy gold, has small white head that is not very dense and fades quickly with no lacing Aroma: bread, yeast, fruit, Taste: berry, wheat, grape, slightest bit of hops Palate: highly carbonated, dry mouthfeel, some light hop aftertaste Overall: doesn't taste like a Weiss beer, it's a descent fruit beer that is pretty refreshing, ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
