A golden haze for a summerís daze. Elder Betty is a weiss-style ale with a bready malt flavor balanced by a touch of hops and complimented by the tart berry flavors of elderberry.

Aroma is very citrus-like; humbled and not overpowering. Hazy golden - hop character is noticeable and eloquently balanced. Fitting of a weiss style beer. If you find this .. Give it a shot .. It may surprise you. (Recommended) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a hazy dark golden yellow color. Aromas of malts, a touch of honey. Flavor is the same as the nose, nice malt taste with honey like sweetness. Smooth hop finish, medium body with a quick aftertaste.

Elder Betty is my favorite fruit beer Iíve ever had. Itís not like other fruit beers, where you think youíre just drinking cider; thereís enough of an aftertaste that reminds you that itís beer to know it isnít cider, and itís not overpowering with one fruit. I love it.

It is hazy light amber in color. The head is almost non existent after the initial pour. It has aromas of bread, cinnamon, and wheat. The flavors of bread, berry, and sweet brown sugar with a dash of cinnamon dominate the flavor palate. Itís listed as a wheat ale, but it doesnít resemble any wheat ale that Iíve had. If your looking for a unique taste, this one has it. If you are looking for a true wheat ale, this isnít it.

Put us to bed. This beer is going to bring it. It has a fruit taste and darker malty taste.

Hazy golden color , medium-size white head. Wheat malt and berry in aroma. Light taste of malt with yeast and some berries ( grape?) . Easy-drinkable refreshing beer.

Pours a hazy golden color with a small head that dissipated quickly. The aroma is grapes and berrys. In the flavor, I pick up grapes more so than the berry and some wheat. Not a huge fan of this beer.

Initial taste is a nice blend of wheat and hops. Nice fruit under tones that complement well.

355ml bottle. Primarily tastes of wheat ale, but there is a fruity sweetness and sourness that comes through. Not cloying, but also not all that distinct. Didnít know what an elderberry tasted like when I started and I still really donít now. Would be a reasonably refreshing generic berry summer beer.

Very fruity. Good taste for the beer itself and the berries come out. Could easily take this to a party and pLease many people.
