Fat Angel by Magic Hat. What can I say? Its original and distinctivly different. Which is what Magic Hat is great at. Full bodied, sweet, malty, and complex. A great beer.

Jun 27, 2008 Updated: Jun 29, 2008Says they’re retired, but they’re still available here for now. Pours flat brown. A hoppy aroma that is relatively weak. Taste is that of a standard pale ale, but a bit hoppy. Hops don’t seem forced. Smooth drink. Pretty average, take or leave beer.

Jun 18, 2008 Definite hops, but a more smooth hops taste as opposed to many other hop infused ales. The rich golden brown color screams hops and delivers with a fruity aftertaste. The aroma is a rich fruity combination that comes through well in the beer. Tasty slow drinking beer...

May 15, 2008 Bottle - poured out with a thin white head. Sweet aroma; somewhat hoppy. First Magic Hat experience and I’d have to say it’s a lot sweeter than I expected. Watered down Sweet & Sour flavor with a very subtle bitter finish. "Decent."

Apr 28, 2008 Aroma of piney hops. Appearance is redddish, like most pale ales. Persistent white head. The flavor is bitter, hoppy, and malty, and a little stale. The palate leaves a modest hop burn. Decent ale, not great.
