COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
G-Thing! is a Ginger Spice Ale led by a fresh ginger zing that’s followed by a bready malt backbone. Its subtle roasty notes and mild hop bitterness slowly give way to a serene cinnamon spiciness as the malt tones melt away.

355 ml bottle. Clear, deep amber body with a small off-white head. Aroma is dominated by ginger, but also some cinnamon and caramel malt. Flavor has also lots of cinnamon, but not too much like some ginger ales tends to be with an almost burning ginger flavor. Soft caramel malt, moderate bitterness and some Christmas cake spices like cinnamon. Medium body and nice in aftertaste. This is a very nice spicy ale for me, e.g. something more than just a novelty beer, rather a beer I might enjoy to drink occasionally.

Bottle. Notes of cinnamon, spice, and a lot of ginger. The finish was heavy ginger and roasted malt. Not bad for the style.

Bottle. If you really like ginger, you might like this. Too much for me, felt like more of a novelty beer with really no substance. I’m out on this one.

Bottle. Dark brown pour with a finger of off white head. Ginger bread, spice, bread. Aroma felt artificial. Lighter than expected body

Appearance: Pours dark brown with no head.

Aroma: Mild gingerbread and dark roast. Grain.

Taste: Ginger root, a touch of curry, cola.

Mouthfeel: Thin side of medium bodied. Modest carbonation. Points awarded for a great name/label.

Overall: This beer deserved more body to go along with the sweet holiday spice profile. Over all, it didn’t deliver the goods like most holiday ales do.

Malty spicy aroma. Maybe ginger and spice, but it is a bit if a fake aroma. Cinnamon gingerbread spice taste and malty. Low carbonation. Descent but faker flavors. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz into a tall pilsner, pours a groggy dark brown with amber shining more towards the bottom. Head is small and fizzy, lean tight ring of 1cm. Aroma is def ginger, herbal ginger, maybe some ginger ale, smells likes Lowes lawn section, fresh and organic, then more giner. Taste is fresh herbs, hello ginger, its a pleasure, 7up, cinnamon spice w/o sweetness, dry, bitter and always fresh with the prolific carbination. Drinks easy, ginger spice revels through though, you’ll never forget this one. Different, fun and not really that bad if you can handle the ginger.

12oz bottle. Filtered caramel brown-burgundy. Thin beige head. Hmm.. tastes like a ginger forward pumpkin beer. Not bad, clean enough backdrop for the flavors to show off. Smooth on the palate, quite drinkable. Doughy brown chocolate caramel cinnamon ginger. OK.

Bottle. Dark mahogany pour with off white head. Smells of ginger and slight chocolate. Tastes very sweet on the front with a slight bitter/sour finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
