The aroma is sweet with chocolate, toffee, butter, and a hint of cardboard, nuts, and hops. The appearance is cola colored with a head that fades fast. The taste is like the aroma with a bitter finish. The palate is smooth. Overall a decent beer but nothing special.

Bottle.
Pours a respectable cloudy amber with a quickly dissipating head of beige. Aroma is peachy malt and sugar-coated wet autumn leaves sitting in a pile of dry grass and pancake syrup. Flavor is watery buttered nuts with a light peach-sugar glaze stored in a jar of dried leaves. Average mouthfeel. Not bad; decent beer.

Amber / brown with a good off white head. Aroma has toasted malt and lots of spices. Taste has some sweetness and caramel or toffee to it. Finish has a hops twang and bitterness to it.

Nice orange to amber color. Yeasty aroma with some maltiness also. Thin head. Tastes malty and rich but not heavy. A bit of orange marmalade on the finish.

Thanks to Jerome at Maggie’s Attic for the fresh bottle. Dark copper pour with a rocky off white head. Big malt aroma with hints of spicy noble hops. Taste continues with that, nice malt sweetness in the body. Decent brew.

12 oz bottle: Aroma is Sweet malt and fruity hop characteristic, caramel, nutty, and the slightest bit of chocolate. Appearance is golden/amber, more to the golden than amber, with a thick off white head that lingers. Flavor starts out cereal, malts, caramel, woodsy, hop backing then finishes clean and somewhat dry. A slightly above average beer, but nothing special at all. Cheers!

I liked this one. It starts out with little aroma. What’s there is kind of sweet and sour. It has a dark amber appearance with a fluffy head. The flavor is like the aroma with some sweet malt and then a sour feel which is quite nice. The finish is nicely bitter.

12oz bottle. clear orange under a small, frothy, white head. lightly bright aroma that’s just a little to pale for me in this style. flavor is malty with hints of a nice toasty malt and nuts. a pleasant sweetness in the finish. medium body.

UPDATED: AUG 28, 2010 Draft at Bearden Beer Market. Clear darkish copper with a tidy little head. Not a huge aroma, light caramel and grassy hops. Flavor is toasted nut and fruity caramel with a larger finish of grass and citrus hops than expected. Light-medium body is balanced, slightly watery, and drinkable.

This beer does not have too much to it. At first i was excited because it says ourtoberfest and i thought it would be a twist on an octoberfest but now i see its a vienna and that make sense to the flavor. It had the same Magic Hat malt taste that they all do with nothing really distinguishing...blah.
