12 ounce bottle, poured a copper color with a nice light tan head, smoky aroma of some hops, caramel, and malt. Flavors are same. Not bad, not bad at all.

CAn’t get excited about this one. Appearance of a pale lager. Blah Weak Octoberfest if this is trying to be one and I am not sure that it is. Tough aroma Does have a smoky thing going on in the finish and a sharp bitter bite perhaps Head stayed with it the whole glass. Got better as it warmed a bit perhaps I had it too cold. or a buzz was kicking in. Just not much going on. Some malts may try again but this one was pretty much unforgettable and on the weak side.

amber, orange in color. medium sweetness, lightly bitter, somewhat complicated malt flavor mixed with light clean hopping. Kind of like a confused version of a better beer with that sort of craptastic bitter taste common of low grade marzens.

Slightly hazy copper pour with a thin lasting white head. Aroma is bread, caramel, and a hint of smoke. Taste is fairly bitter with bread and caramel. Decent.

Bottle from the missus’ trip to Washington. Clear copper colour with a thin head. Aroma is light ornage malt. Flavour is fruit to begin with, some toffee but leading to a grapefruit bitterness at the end

Bottle. Pours hazy brown medium tan head. Aroma of caramel and toast. Medium sweet taste. Medium-full body, texture on the thicker side, fizzy carbonation. Didn’t really pick up too much of the smoky finish. Pretty decent Marzen overall but carbonation to high.

From bottle. Pots an opaque dark orangey amber colour. Unremarkable aroma, sweet toffee, maybe some dried oranges. Flavor is balanced. Initially lightly sweetened malts leading to bitterness. Nicely carbonated mouthful for once, bubbly without co2 flavor. Lie I said balanced but unremarkable brew, a solid effort.

Pretty good octoberfest. Like Sam Adams but with a little more malt (a touch a coffee at the end) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz. bottle from a mixed 12 pack. Copper in color with nearly no head at all. Bready malt, caramel, and vegetable type aroma. The mouthfeel is light to medium, with the standard Marzen flavors. Nothing here to get anybody excited however, no major red flags either. Drinkable.

Pours copper/orange with a fleeting white head. Subtle malty aroma. Malty flavor with a mild resinous hop character. Light body with a watery mouthfeel. Medium carbonation.
