2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12 oz. bottle shared on a Royale Tuesday beer showcase. Pours a clear golden-amber color with a small, sticky white head that leaves some foam and a ring atop the beer. Aroma of sweet malts, booze, cardboard, soda water, and honey. The flavor is much the same, with some straw. Sharp, foamy carbonation provides a bite and a seltzer mouthfeel. Light-medium bodied. This would have been better smoothed out, but as is, it just isn’t that interesting.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottled. Poured lighter orangey-amber with a short-ish lived cap of white head. The aroma picked up a sweet dose of bready, vienna-ish malts with some vanilla and odd appley-vegetal character around.. caramel and citrus hops also make an appearance.. weird stuff. The flavor found a sweet core of caramel, bready, and honey notes, with tacky fruit and otherwise unidentifiable bitterness around.. a bit acidic in the end.. didn’t like this very much. Light-medium bodied and well carbonated on the palate.. very sweet overall.. candied with an odd complexion.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
9/6/10. On tap. Orange-ish pour, almost looks like a pumpkin beer. Typical grainy smell, but loaded with soapy badness and even some sour... The flavor is bitter and grainy, turns extremely sweet, and then hints at some sort of odd chocolate touch. I wish this brewery would go away.
