Pours copper/orange with a fleeting white head. Subtle malty aroma. Malty flavor with a mild resinous hop character. Light body with a watery mouthfeel. Medium carbonation.

Pours a nice amber color with white head. Toffee, caramel malt, and some roasted malt on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes different than most ambers, but in a good way.

Rated on 6-03-2012 (Bottle) This beer has a large smooth off-white head with a short retention, transparent amber body, very fizzy carbonation, and spotty amounts of lacing. The aroma is caramel malt, very sweet, and spicy. The flavor is very sweet, hops, spicy, and caramel malt. The mouthfeel is light carbonation and this is a light-medium bodied beer. This is an easy to drink beer and while it lacks much character, it is tasty enough that I would drink it again.

Reviewed from notes. The appearance had a clear red colored body yielding a one finger white head slowly dissipating into the body leaving a film of a head. No carbonation is seen rising and no lacing is left. The smell had a smokey maltiness with some light nuts here and there. The taste was basically has the same flavorings from the smell. The palate sat a light to medium with nothing harsh on the tongue, sessionable. Overall, this is not a bad beer, yet nothing spectacular, standard red ale, but probably only get it again on tap.

cheers to Magic Hat for trying something different. I smokey marzen. What? Yeah. This was awful. An Oktoberfest should taste like an Oktoberfest. Thumbs down

I had this at Global Brew. Pours amber with a white head. Taste Carmel, smokey. I thought this was good. I could drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

355ml bottle. Pretty generic Oktoberfest. Some nice malts and herbal hops, but nothing that makes it stand out.

Deep, but too acidic. There is a minimum of 75 characters for your comments. There is a minimum of 75 characters for your comments. There is a minimum of 75 characters for your comments.
