COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hi.P.A. is a medium-bodied groove with a fresh and fruitful nose of tympanic temptation. It begins and ends with a big hop bite that is itself forever balanced on the brink by a steady rhythm of malt. Dry-hopped for extra quenching in the face of heat and beat, it’s an ideal accompaniment to chilling out, turning inward or sailing onward through the music of the night toward the dawn of the mind. It’s the liquid way to say be here now lest you never come this way again.

Barreras (849) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - MAY 2, 2013
Pours a light copper color with a fruity aroma and light spice. Taste is a bit thin but overall tasty. A slight bready and malt flavor with a toasty palate. Not a typical IPA, little to no bitterness throughout. a thirst quenching beer.

Small bottle at Hops in New Westminster. A very pale golden amber color with low carbonation. Bitter grapefruit bite on the nose and tongue. A bit of malt lurking in the background. Bitter finish. Nice.

This’d be a killer summer beer! Sometimes life bites, but in a good way, as in "good beer has bite".

Pours a hazy gold with a frothy white head and good lacing throughout. Aroma is somewhat yeasty with stone fruit and sweet grain. Medium bodied. Fruity body, again a little yeasty with a bitter grapefruit finish. Good.

Bottled. Bright golden color with lace. Lemony nose, light bread, Sprite. Lemony flavor with light malts, nice bitter finish. Light and clean. Decent enough.

12oz bottle into pint glass. I’d sworn off Magic Hat, because all their stuff tastes the same. This is an exception. It’s a relatively thin, light-tasting IPA, a good summer-evening beer. Hops are fruity, malt profile is pretty thin, but maybe a little rye - just a touch of spiciness. No alcohol comes through, would be easy to drink a lot of this.

The rye in the beer brings nice flavours of malts and makes a good combination with the hops.

Sulphury, golden ale aroma with some rye overtones. Foggy, light gold, big white head. Not sure what the woman with blue intestines or giant blue Jelly Bellies has to do with beer. Perhaps I need to expand my mind. Generic golden AIPA flavors - cascades, lemon zest. Macaroni notes. This is the 2nd beer tonight that I’ve picked up pasta in - not sure what’s going on with my sniffer. A little bland, but inoffensive. Not mind-blowing, heh. ABC Liquors, Bull Run.

På fat. Gulorange lätt dimmig öl med vitt skum. Humle med blommighet och viss citrus både i smak och doft. Bra balans mot maltigheten. En "middle of the road"-IPA. Lättdrucken.

Bottle. Pretty average IPA. Could almost be a macro brew. Not really worth a go. Great label art though.

Long Island, NY - 12 oz. bottle poured a darker, hazy golden color with a little white head and moderate lacing. Aroma was a citrusy delight along with pine. Taste is dead on for a generic IPA, but better than I was expecting for Magic Hat. I like this beer and it is a good bang for the buck. Good job on this one Magic Hat -- Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
