Hi.P.A. is a medium-bodied groove with a fresh and fruitful nose of tympanic temptation. It begins and ends with a big hop bite that is itself forever balanced on the brink by a steady rhythm of malt. Dry-hopped for extra quenching in the face of heat and beat, its an ideal accompaniment to chilling out, turning inward or sailing onward through the music of the night toward the dawn of the mind. Its the liquid way to say be here now lest you never come this way again.

Crystal clear golden ale with a small, fizzy, white head. The nose is of grapefruit, apricot and toffee. The well-balanced flavor is moderately bitter and decently malty. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Lengthy, bitter, grassy finish.

(Besty by Aug/2004)Wow, the Columbus hops drown out the ringwood yeast! Very hoppy and bitter. Nice sticky malt character. Good IPA

Sample at the brewery. Pours clear amber with a small, white head. Aroma is a bit malty with lots of hops, reminiscent of marijuana. Starts surprisingly malty and then has a nice hop jolt in the finish. Average mouthfeel. Nice IPA.

sample at the brewery...pour is clear blonde with a small off white head. Piney aroma, lots of hops. Many different varieties of hops used in brewing this, kinda funky in the middle. Decent finish, nicely bitter. Not bad, Id like a larger sample.

Sampled at brewery in a 3oz sample glass. Grainy aroma. Start is sweet, with smooth malts, then huge hoppiness and bitter to finish. Multiple hops are used. Grainy undertones. Decent.

Nice looking glorious gold clear with no head. Faint floral hop aroma. Medium average smoothness body. Medium strong long lasting bitter herbal aromatic hop flavours with light hints of fruitiness all becoming a little staler in the aftertaste. I expected a little more from this brewer and thsi beer

With the name "Hi.P.A." I did not expect such a citrusy flavor. Hi.P.A. poured golden with a few floaties in the bottom of the glass. Apricot aroma and flavor, hops are well belended with malts. This IPA has adequate flavor, just not what I expected. I thought Hi.P.A. would be a West Coast style IPA.

22oz. Bomber: This one is a slightly orangish color. It had a bit of a head to it, but it dissapated quickly. Definite hops in the aroma. Not as much as I would have expected with the name. The aroma in a bit piney. Where did the hop taste go? It's there, but no stronger than a normal IPA, if even a bit weaker. It does taste good, but the expectation is higher.

Cask: Light orange. Lychee in the aroma and finish. Some bitter notes in palate and a combined bitter-sweet aftertaste.
