Hi.P.A. is a medium-bodied groove with a fresh and fruitful nose of tympanic temptation. It begins and ends with a big hop bite that is itself forever balanced on the brink by a steady rhythm of malt. Dry-hopped for extra quenching in the face of heat and beat, itís an ideal accompaniment to chilling out, turning inward or sailing onward through the music of the night toward the dawn of the mind. Itís the liquid way to say be here now lest you never come this way again.

Bottle. Orange pour with a thin clingy white head. Huge floral hop aroma with a little fruit. Juicy taste dominated by floral/citrus hops. Really remarkable at how hoppy the aroma and taste is, but the bitterness doesnít really linger or tear your head off. Very well made.

Bottle. Pours a very hazy orange amber color with a medium beige head that falls off rather quickly. Lots of little sediment in here, though most of it is obscured by the near opacity of the beer. Burnt grain/nut smell on here that is a bit off putting. Some sweet candy and malt smells, but not too much citrus. Light and a little yeasty with a little tang to it. Finishes with a bit of a bitterness, but not much. If I had this blind I donít think Iíd peg it as an IPA. Itís a tolerable beer, but not one Iíd really want to drink again, and not one Iíd want to drink if I wanted an IPA. No hoppy citrus/pine nose, no big grapefruit bitterÖ just a lot of let down. Ended up dumping most of this. Not worth finishing.

Bottled. Bright golden color with lace. Lemony nose, light bread, Sprite. Lemony flavor with light malts, nice bitter finish. Light and clean. Decent enough.

Bottle. Straw with a coarse bubbled, tufting head festooning the glass. Neat hop Punk IPA juiciness on the snout; grapefruit, passion fruit, tomato vine, lemon and lime wine gummage with a crumb of biscuit. Lean and spiky with a big slug of puckering, tonic water and grapefruit juice bitterness mellowed slightly by stewed tea, liquorice and honey-dabbed biscuit. Drinks like Punk- a big welcome surprise after the tipper that was #9.

Poured light copper with off white head that lasted less than a minute. Initially the aroma seemed slightly spicy like a chili pepper. Behind that is sweet maltiness. The taste starts with a medley of spices that I canít distinguish. I swear I taste chili powder. After that are light floral hoppiness and some sweet maltiness. Interesting brew.

Iím surprised I hadnít rated this. Poured healthy medium orange with a creamy, well-retained cap of beige head. The aroma picked up apricot, citrus, and a little piney hoppage over a simple, but sufficient sweet caramel base. The flavor was more malt-centric than anticipated with a tough-to-ID bitterness that hit right at the back.. caramel again at the core with pine and fruity bitterness through the middle.. lots of sweetness along with the aforementioned bitter hit on the finish. Medium-bodied with just OK balance on the palate.. higher carbonation.. Iíd drink another, but I wouldnít be too excited about it.

A piney and citrus IPA more on par with an average pale ale than a good IPA.

Clear golden with a thick lacy white head. Aroma is fresh, bold and hoppy with some earthy malt presence. Smooth and sweet body has a bitter bite toward the finish. Kinda reminds me of a toned down version of Stone 7th Anniversary. A good, drinkable, and fresh IPA. Thanks to SpringsLicker for bringing this to the Georgia 14% gathering!

Bottle. Pours orange with a white head. Hoppy nose with notes of flowers and fruit and even a hint of alcohol. Thin/medium body. Hops stick in your mouth. Taste is mostly orange and a bit peachy, with some other fruits. It sounds like a good combination, but it didnít really work for me. Bitter finish.
