COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hi.P.A. is a medium-bodied groove with a fresh and fruitful nose of tympanic temptation. It begins and ends with a big hop bite that is itself forever balanced on the brink by a steady rhythm of malt. Dry-hopped for extra quenching in the face of heat and beat, itís an ideal accompaniment to chilling out, turning inward or sailing onward through the music of the night toward the dawn of the mind. Itís the liquid way to say be here now lest you never come this way again.

Very poor for a new IPA you would expect to be good. Almost budweisrer clear....a somewhat nice hop character but not overly impressive.

I had two different bottles of Hi.P.A. One with the blue lady on the front, one with this sort of 70ís hippy gold label on it. The Blue Lady bottle was a deep yellow with a foamy white head. It smelled of hops and cat urine, which was sort of offputting. The flavor was burnt and hoppy with none of the sweetness that Iím used to in IPAs. It was very unbalanced. The other bottle, however, was a deeper amber, with the same foamy head. It had a lightly hoppy aroma and was mildly sweet-- not as bitter as itís sister.

This one resembles an IPA, but has a weak hop profila and a dominant sugary malt profile. Way below average.

Bottle. Clear amber with a large head. Aroma of hay and floral hops with some sugar sweetness. Tastes sweet with Balanced sweet and bitter flavor. Light to medium body. Thin texture. Not one of Magic Hatís better efforts.

Nice orange color but not as hoppy as I was expecting it to be. We had to leave the bar before I was able to fully enjoy it so I don't think I can fairly comment on this beer.

Bottle. Pours a golden color with a medium white head. Aroma is of some grainy malt and skunk weed, smells like shitty pot basically. Flavor starts out a bit malty, kinda grainy again and fades into some decent bitterness. Lightr to medium body, a little rough going down. Not all that great.

Cold 12oz botte: Pours a clear pale orange color with an off white moderate head with lacing. Aroma is of vibrant fruit, orange, rich malts and light earthy hops. Taste is of rich malts and a wave of earthy hops with some orange and notes of other light fruits. Light to medium bodied with ample carbonation. Ending is malty with subtle hops.
