No thanks. There are finer things to suck on for a straight guy such as myself.
Pours a basically clear gold with a nice creme head. Nose is sweet floral hops with a real sticky theme going on. Flavor is much more roasted than my other two IPA offerings this evening. Apparently there is a theme here tonight. Anyways. Roasted. A bit smokier than what’s been going on tonight. Flavor is smooth. More earthy than anything else. Well balanced. Feel is good. This is an easy drinker. Not as full on the flavor profile as others, but it doesn’t mean anything. A nice drinker.
Tessic (376), Brantford, Ontario, Canada Aug 25, 2008 This IPA poured a dark yellow colour with a fast dissipating rocky white head. To the nose there is scents of pine, grass, pineapple, lemon rine and a little yeast. First taste was smooth and at first was a nice even flavour of hopps. As it progressed the hopps became very potent. Almost getting acidic but not to an annoying level. Finish is bitter with flavours of lemons and grass. Very good. Optigon (547), Bloomington, Indiana, USA Aug 17, 2008 Pours yellow-orange with a fine white head. Aroma is lightly grainy and hoppy. Mouth feel is moderate. Flavor is very hoppy, but well balanced with a sweet maltiness. Rockinout (940), Kent, Ohio, USA Aug 13, 2008 Fresh citrus nose with some apple. Not very hoppy but smooth and refreshing. An average brew. JohnCoyne (64), USA Aug 13, 2008 On tap @ The Edge in Wintergreen Va.
Pours a clear copper color with a small white head. Smells of citrus and lightly floral notes. Tastes of hops with a slight bitterness and a clean finish. Standard IPA, nothing special. graham515 (294), Austin, Texas, USA Aug 9, 2008 Pours clear gold into the glass with a white head. Aroma is grainy and weak in the hops department. Flavor is somewhat citrusy and fruity with a bit of bitterness towards the back end. Palate is smooth and dry on the end. I’m really surprised this brew is near 7% because nothing about it seems to reveal that.
