COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our take on the classic summer wheat beer...it’s a light, crisp ale for mowing lawns, hitting lazy fly balls and communing with nature. Glowing like brilliant rays of golden sun, its malty sweetness finishes tart and crisp. Hocus Pocus is best appreciated with a wedge of orange. Offered as a sacrifice to cloudless days.

Lighter yellow, only slightly cloudy. Medium, shrinking fluffy head that easily settled in 1 pour; some lasting. Aroma is wheat, quite a bit of lemon. Flavor is about the same. Light body, slight tart I suppose. Not alot going on here really.

Not my favorite wheat beer, the aroma is both earthy and citrusy, with a cloudy gold color and mild spice after taste.

Somewhat cloudy gold with a medium white to tan head. Somewhat of a musty, wet earth aroma. Taste is a bit fleeting. There is a bit of bitter and a bit of sweet. The body is light and texture is thin with a slight sweet finish. Overall this is a light beer to be had on a hot day, but it’s nothing to go out of your way for. Think of it as eye-candy, or a conversation starter at a party where everyone is drinking natty, BL, and PBR. However, you might as well be drinking PBR.

Bottled. Poured cloudy lighter golden with a tall, creamy, sticky white head. The aroma picked up bright earthy wheat and orange zest, with faint undertones of band-aid.. smelled like it was going to be drinkable. The flavor found tart wheat, orange zest, and white spices throughout.. honey and generic pale malts supported.. tangy finish with orange rind and residual grainy sugars. Light-bodied with fairly high carbonation on the palate.. tangy and engaging in spots, but too many grainy sugars in others.. overall very drinkable, but not necessarily good.

Wheat session beer. Perhaps is better with that wedge of Orange like they say but I’m not personally a fan of disguising the beer with overwhelming flavors and it doesn’t seem necessary for many wheats I’ve had contrary to what some individuals will claim. My least favorite of the Magic Hat offerings I’ve tried so far.

355ml bottle. Very nearly clear yellow, moderate white head, some lacing. Aroma is mild, citrus and maybe even some grapefruit hops. Taste actually has some hops, but not much bitterness with more citrus fruits and grain. Body is pretty average. Overall, a bit unusual for a wheat, but refreshing and inoffensive. I’d drink it again.

Clear golden pour with a fluffy white head. Sweet malty aroma. Taste is bread, bitter citrus zest, and a hint of sweetness. A bit astringent. Prickly carbonation.

It pours from the bottle with a bright yellow-orange color. The aroma is a light mix of musty yet bright hop bitterness, a little lemon, and some earthy wheat. The flavor largely features a biscuity, almost tangy, light malt sweetness, but there is also a bit of dry, herbal hops to balance. Like the flavor, the texture is light but not too thin. Overall, this beer is light and drinkable, but it has a nice mild yet varied flavor profile.
