COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our take on the classic summer wheat beer...it’s a light, crisp ale for mowing lawns, hitting lazy fly balls and communing with nature. Glowing like brilliant rays of golden sun, its malty sweetness finishes tart and crisp. Hocus Pocus is best appreciated with a wedge of orange. Offered as a sacrifice to cloudless days.

Appearance: Pours a hazy yellow gold with a dense white film.

Aroma: Light banana bread. Chamomille tea.

Taste: Tart wheat, some pale dry malt light but notible euro hop bite.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied. Fizzy.

Overall: Super refreshing and surprisingly good for this type of offering.

(tasting at Des Peres Schnucks) light gold with white head. Light wheat malt aroma. Flavor is light wheat malt.

Gold in color with thin white head. Bit of a sweet smell. Nice tongue tingle. I like the hops amount in this for a wheat. Pretty damn good beer. Very drinkable.

Good Sunday beer, nice aroma, I use it to make a mop sauce for when I smoke a brisket.

Supposedly this beer is perfect for mowing grass. Tastes like what you would get if you fermented the contents of your lawn bag. Add a squirt of lemon and you have hocus pocus. Not a fan ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Light orange-gold with a hint of wispy head. A berry aroma (elderberry, I?m sure) but also with some wheat. Aroma is almost misleading - not much of a berry flavor, almost citrusy, rather. Finishes fizzy, a bit floral, but very light. Makes me think of sunshine. Very much a summer beer.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized fizzy white head. The aroma had mildly sweet malt, grassy notes, mild citrus and wheat. The flavor has mild lemon citrus, wheat grass, some light sweetness, but pretty bland overall.

Bland, predictable summer fair, but it was only $1.99 a sixer, so I’ll quit sounding like a condescending prick. Yeasty, with a tartness that plays off the weak malts and invisible hops. No hefe notions to be found, either. Okay, so I still sound like a condescending prick, but this beer’s pretty weak. (10/08)

Reviewed from notes. Poured a really light yellow color with a bit of a white head and some clearly visible carbonation. The nose is some light citrus along with quite a bit of grain. The taste is grainy and has some light lemon notes. Light and crisp, this was a pretty good summer brew. Serving type: on-tap Reviewed on: 11-14-2010
