Our take on the classic summer wheat beer...itís a light, crisp ale for mowing lawns, hitting lazy fly balls and communing with nature. Glowing like brilliant rays of golden sun, its malty sweetness finishes tart and crisp. Hocus Pocus is best appreciated with a wedge of orange. Offered as a sacrifice to cloudless days.

Not my favorite wheat beer, the aroma is both earthy and citrusy, with a cloudy gold color and mild spice after taste.

12 oz Bottle. Pours a hazy, crisp golden apricot color with a small white head. Nose is light honey, wheat, grains. Palate is crisp with a sticky finish. Flavors of grassy hops, wheat and grains, with a dry finish.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a weizen glass. Pours clear deep golden with two finger white head. Aroma is caramel malt/crisp hops, medium body, medium/low carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is lots of caramel malt and crisp hop finish. Not very hoppy for an American wheat ale, wouldnít go out of my way to revisit this.

355ml bottle. Pale gold pour. This one is absolute water. In the bud light fashion, if you want an easy-drinkign summer thirst quencher wheat beer reach for an anderson valley gose.

Had this on the fourth of July in variety pack. Very light wheat beer. Not a lot to write home about.

Bottle. Aroma is earthy and grass. Funky. Taste is watery, light wheat and grass. Some malt backbone. Ok easy drinking beer.

Drank from twelve ounce bottle. Great aromas of citrus and a hint of grassy aromas. A decent summer brew. Not high up on my list for Magic Hat.

Pours a hazy yellow, some white head. Wheaty aroma ha yeast and lemon hints. Crisp, wheaty flavor has a sweet lemon (yes, sweet lemon!) underpinning. Texture has decent fizz and respectable viscosity. Good for taking the edge off a hot, humid Boston day.

Light. Crisp. Pretty dull. This is a beer for a hot day outside where you need more hydration than flavor.

This is one of those American wheat ales which was an old brewpub standby which they would sell to meek and dainty womenfolk who did not like strong beer. I am not sure that is the most delicate way to put that but, hey, donít shoot the messenger. This is a perfectly clear golden beer w/ a long-lasting head of fine bubbles. Itís nose is of grain husk and bread yeast along w/ some grassy hops. This comes off as a little bit on the sweetside but that is mostly because there is not much bitterness. It smells pretty nice but it tastes a little flabby w/o much substance. A crisp bite of carbonation keeps it lively enough to be interesting though. Finish is just a lingering bit of sweetness w/ some nutty malts on the tongue. There is nothing really wrong w/ this beer and I enjoy the style despite my initial comment but this is frankly just forgettable.

12 oz. bottle. Gold color with a very brief white head. Not much of a noticeable aroma. Medium body, good carbonation. Very little wheat flavor. Clean finish. Drinkable, but not the best.
