Our take on the classic summer wheat beer...it’s a light, crisp ale for mowing lawns, hitting lazy fly balls and communing with nature. Glowing like brilliant rays of golden sun, its malty sweetness finishes tart and crisp. Hocus Pocus is best appreciated with a wedge of orange. Offered as a sacrifice to cloudless days.

355ml bottle. Pale gold pour. This one is absolute water. In the bud light fashion, if you want an easy-drinkign summer thirst quencher wheat beer reach for an anderson valley gose.

I like Magic Hat beers. This one was a middle-of-the-road wheat beer...not bad, but not outstanding either. A good lawnmower beer, but hard to find and over-priced for what you get.

Draught at MacGregor’s in Rochester. Pale golden color with lace. Golden malt aroma with wheat, light hops, butter and citrus. Nicely hopped flavor, but not too much. Creamy, buttery, wheat malt with fruit and citrus. A nice summer drink. Dry, fruity, lightly champagne-like finish.

tap@mugs. i thought magic hat would come up with a better wheat than this. i assumed it was an attempt at a wit as it was pale, slightly hazy, lightly lemony with some nasty traces of laundry detergent in the finish. thin and boring

"yet another non-deScript entry into the american wheat catergory. average across the board...non-offensive...not complex or intruiging. pretty much what i expected

Bottled. Poured cloudy lighter golden with a tall, creamy, sticky white head. The aroma picked up bright earthy wheat and orange zest, with faint undertones of band-aid.. smelled like it was going to be drinkable. The flavor found tart wheat, orange zest, and white spices throughout.. honey and generic pale malts supported.. tangy finish with orange rind and residual grainy sugars. Light-bodied with fairly high carbonation on the palate.. tangy and engaging in spots, but too many grainy sugars in others.. overall very drinkable, but not necessarily good.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized fizzy white head. The aroma had mildly sweet malt, grassy notes, mild citrus and wheat. The flavor has mild lemon citrus, wheat grass, some light sweetness, but pretty bland overall.

Bottle. Pours clear gold with a white head. Light malt aroma with lemon and wheat notes. Light body. Flavor has a straw note and a light lemon note. Not bad, but pretty bland. I guess it would be a nice summer beer.

Lightly sweet and golden with some citrus flavor and spice. Refreshing, but thin. Still a good American wheat.
